Ideal (Job) Merits (Level 75)
You don't have to like it or agree with it, but I chose to stay 75 for the time being because the majority of content is catered to things based on that cap.

Carbuncle.Huttburt said: » I would probably still disagree at 75 tbh. Different strokes for different folks though I guess. Was great for Dynamis (he's *** now for that), Einherjar, Salvage and Limbus to name a few things. Usually you have a RDM to dispel, and stuff that resists dark elemental dispels suck anyway, or only cast dreadspikes once every rarely. Regardless, I never found myself in a situation that I couldn't handle without 5/5 Lullaby merits. I've ran with both and since going back to 5/5 Finale I've never gone back. I suppose it may be dependant on content and groups, but both my group and content I partook in benefited from being able to dispel often. Odin.Sheelay said: » split your group in two, spread out in the past. fight each other for claim. you still get to camp, but still get to fight when you lose claim! di was actually my favorite fight for a long time. it was fun to watch people wipe for two hours. even more fun when it's you who wipes for two hours at an ungodly time until someone logs on to help. you could probably still make money off hermes sandals? i don't know if there's a new war movement speed feetz or something. Can prob play at 75 cap for old stuff till they go and do their changes to einherjar, salvage, nyzul. Prob going to make changes for limbus at some point too.
salvage. best event in the game.
What's the point lol, we were 75 for like a million years.

A small group of people could (and probably is) monopolize those forgotten NMs and pull in a decent profit, not if they syncd at 75 though heheh Leviathan.Draylo said: » What's the point lol, we were 75 for like a million years. Simple, it'd make all those long, tedious fights we now so often find ourselves missing, possible once again ;D I've consistently seen DI up and about every day for the past 4+ months. Haven't seen the worm, though.

Artemicion said: » 4/5 Winning Streak As for pup: melee/magic skill 5/5, Optimization 5, Ventriloquy and RR 1 and rest to Fine-tuning. Sylph.Kimble said: » Can prob play at 75 cap for old stuff till they go and do their changes to einherjar, salvage, nyzul. Prob going to make changes for limbus at some point too. Yeah, kinda worried about that. But there's some hope based on segmented changes announced for Nyzul. Phoenix.Sehachan said: » Artemicion said: » 4/5 Winning Streak As for pup: melee/magic skill 5/5, Optimization 5, Ventriloquy and RR 1 and rest to Fine-tuning. not quite what i did for pup, but pretty similar.. i did 5 ranged 5 magic, 5 opt 1 vent 4/5 fine-tuning (though i have taken a lot of consideration into putting 1 into RR like she has :P) RR can be a life saver, it's worth that single merit. As for skills consider that even sharpshot needs to melee for tp(albeit less with the new BT now).
Odin.Eikechi said: » I love how for pup it just says "idk what to do here...." lol I've never played it, let alone had the luxury of seeing a decent one in action. So I honestly don't even know where to start on that one. I revoke my 5/5 Phantom Roll Recast since I totally forgot about that update that made 11 have a really short recast on Phantom Roll.
The reason for my Winning Streak was to narrow the margin of time between rotations and thus keep the time frame for DDing long as possible. Though I've been highly criticized for making rotations to begin with. But yeah, with the new recast reduction on 11s for phantom roll and 11s obviously being the primary objective with my risk-taking behavior, 5/5 Fold would be more ideal than Winning Streak. Phoenix.Sehachan said: » RR can be a life saver, it's worth that single merit. As for skills consider that even sharpshot needs to melee for tp(albeit less with the new BT now). ya my barrage turbine really kicks *** lol...ya i know it has to melee, but ranged att is pretty strong and +skill only makes it that much better..that final WS at 90 or w/e is SIIIIIICK Rotations are vital if you wanna do things well, but Winning Streak is worthless anyway.
As for PR recast, it may actually be important considering they're adding a third roll. Phoenix.Sehachan said: » Rotations are vital if you wanna do things well, but Winning Streak is worthless anyway. As for PR recast, it may actually be important considering they're adding a third roll. Whoa, where was this announced? That's probably gonna be equipment dependent like BRD's empyerian harp though ._. Phoenix.Sehachan said: » Rotations are vital if you wanna do things well, but Winning Streak is worthless anyway. As for PR recast, it may actually be important considering they're adding a third roll. Um... at 75? As for PR recast, he's not going to have three rolls at 75. It's going to be an empyrean-like thing or 99 JA. I don't think so, they clearly stated that they wanted to give cor the chance to keep three rolls at time as a further update to Phantom Roll. Things are different from bard, songs don't have a 1 minute shared recast timer, so I think it's quite fair.
lol love that platypus Nini... And I thought cor merits for group one were all about QD..since QD is pretty boss and all

Curious though, are there any particular pieces that outclass the -5 Recast and 4 MAB body from ACP? Even if they're post 75. Perry I think his name is? Idk, I just know its from Phinius and Ferb or w/e that silly cartoon is lol...funny stuff
