Are Breeze Gorget and Belt really worth the trouble? Or could these be supplemented for something else?
You can use the Aqua/Snow versions too, they're all compatible with Ruinator - and they're worth the trouble, yeah.
In the meantime you can just use whatever STR/Double Attack equipment you've got for those slots. Valefor.Vaeria

I'm using Ferine necklace and Twilight belt..
Odin.Phunkism said: » Checking the BG forums looks like someone already parsed the OAT nakuual weapons at 40%. Throwing the axes in the spreadsheet, dual wielding both hatxiik and hunahpu seems to beat most ilvl 119 combinations by quite a bit. Obviously sub in your ilvl 119 axes when you need the accuracy. Updated BST/NIN gear set: Delve fodder RBC ItemSet 323034 - Axes are 4% crit and OAT augments - Augmented Otomi helm and Felistris mask are very close. Depending on what you sub in or out in your other slots, Otomi may win. - Iuitl gear is 2% DA. 2% Crit augments are extremely close - Rancorous Mantle > Atheling mantle by a small amount bit in this setup - Augmented Burmete Gloves with 8 str and 2% haste are a slight downgrade. May be worth it to use those instead to offset lost axe skill from the weapons. Ruinator setup remains largely unchanged other than switching back to ejekemal boots from Gorney +1 sollerets. ItemSet 323821 - Ejekemal boots and Otomi helm have 8 str augment No moonshade over that str earring? Bismarck.Herzins said: » No moonshade over that str earring? Ruinator's description states that "Accuracy varies with TP" - generally you're better off with a STR earring. New skimish axe
That axe model looks pretty cool. Offline

I might try a combo melee and pet augment especially if da can reach 6. Been throwing a lot of stones at this axe. Pretty stupid system and a big gil sink. This is what I have so far
Looking at getting the leaforb augment for pet pdef but the highest I've gotten is 3% with +2 stones. The pet DA/CRIT combo came up so decided to keep it until I see a higher pet pdef. I've read people have gotten 4% pet pdef with a +1 stone so I'm sure you can get at least 5% pet pdef with +2 stones. EDIT: Few more augments 4%... good enough for now. EDIT 2: Used about 30 Leaforb +2 stones. Here's what I saw for augments. pet: haste (saw up to 3%) pet: DA/CRIT (saw up to 3/3) Repair potency (saw up to 2%) Avatar perpetuation (saw up to -4) Pet: Regen (Saw up to 3/tic) Pet: pdef (Saw up to -4%) Am looking for High level Acc TP set for BST been partying in WohGates for job points I use acc food and we have bard I just like to see what I need to improve on a High level ACC set. If can post sets if can Falkirk or Phunk :).
High Accuracy TP set:
ItemSet 327689 Max Accuracy TP set: ItemSet 327690 Max set has ~40 more accuracy than the High Acc set. You can use Jukukik Feather during the night (DEX+4, Accuracy+4 ammo). honeycomb said: » Am looking for High level Acc TP set for BST been partying in WohGates for job points I use acc food and we have bard I just like to see what I need to improve on a High level ACC set. If can post sets if can Falkirk or Phunk :). Falkirk has everything covered. Some alternatives to consider - Durgai Leggings - Oneiros Annulet - Kumbhakarna Kumbhakarna can get up to 20/20 atk/acc or 25 acc on it if I read the jp wiki correctly. I actually threw the weapon into the spreadsheet with 20atk/20acc 6 DA on it and it actually comes out better than guttler in the situations you would use guttler in. With the added benefit of being the better weapon when accuracy is an issue. Odin.Phunkism said: » Oh, nice! Good call. :D A list of relevant upgrades/sidegrades for bst this up update:

Hi all! I am looking for some tips on my TP gear for my BST.
This is my current set up: ItemSet 328852 I realize my haste is past max and if I got rid of feet or maybe any other 3% piece I'd be okay. Any suggestions? Any tips for some gear. Also I have noticed lots of people saying OAT augments. I know how to augment WKR gear but what is OAT? Valefor.Vaeria said: » Hi all! I am looking for some tips on my TP gear for my BST. How does Gavialis Helm compare to STR Otomi for Ruinator (on active days)? I got one last night and I'm wondering if it's worth carrying around.

What is the best 119 axe ? The skirmish one?
ilvl 119 DD choices goes like
Aymur > Guttler > Kumbhakarna 20/20 acc/atk 6 DA augments I think dual wielding the ilvl 115 Hatxiik/Hunapuh with OAT 4% crit is still our highest dps on fodder by a big margin. Even with primal rend aymur still wins?
I messed up. I had 40% ODD on that had Aymur edging on guttler slightly with just using ruinator.
Almost done with guttler, is after math worth keeping up?
I mostly solo and prefer to use Ruinator over Onslaught.
I haven't had the luck yet to try it in a heavily buffed party situation where keeping up aftermath is easier. Bahamut.Zangada said: » Even with primal rend aymur still wins? I would think you'd just want to Primal Rend for AM3. Compared to Ruinator, even with +30% damage from Aymur, PR is going to suck. |
