BST Gear Sets

It's like SE doesn't realize BST doesn't charm anymore. Maybe all the charm + gear will someday increase the level of the charmed pet. That would be sweet.

If you forget the charm/tame stats are there it has a pretty good base damage for 280 delay weapon. I'm sure someone can make use of it as a starter ilvl 119 weapon or something.

I wonder how Unity ranking affects the pet: pdt on the handler's earring. The item description doesn't say a variance to it. Though what would be the point of putting it under the unity heading rather than a solid stat if it wasn't affected by unity ranking?

Must be the stat listing priority. Pet stats are usually included after everything else. :)

You see the same thing on the new Buramgh/Buramgh+1 where the "Pet:" stuff is listed after the Unity bonuses.

New NMS... maybe, w/e. SE just developes the game they don't actually play it... least it does not seem as anyone over there does.

Ugh. Wish we could have TWO of the 12 rings... Thurandaut, Adoulin (I've got other jobs that'd make good use of it), or Haverton rings.

Anybody no the spots where NM pop for the highwing helm and wisent kecks been killing everything in woh gates on him but not sure or what to kill same on pants killing everything in cirdas but no luck if got pop spot info please share :)

I made my decision last night and went with a Haverton ring. For the things I currently do in the game it would benefit me the most. I'm sad I can't get the pet god ring but the choice was a ring I could pretty much full-time, and a ring that would go into my pet DT set that I use only occasionally.

Wisent kecks NM anybody no good pet to use on him he has nasty poison tick? Tried trio him with smn bst geo but didnt work so well needed more pet jobs on him. Let me no how you killed him vemois if that spelled right.

Bestial loyalty and Call beast work the same when macroing in your Ankusa gloves +1 to mess with your pet levels or just stick with call beast?

Hey Phunkism, Falkirk, and my fellow Masters/Mistresses of Beasts!

I'm slowly playing the catch-up game and thanks to the current running NNI campaign, finally got a Phorcys Korazin. I recall many of you used this body for Cloudsplitter/Primal Rend, but were there any other weapon skills this body (in combination with say, Mekira-oto +1 and/or Ogier's Breeches would come out ahead of Gorney +1, Xaddi or other bodies?

Would it even make sense, assuming day/weather applies, to combine Phorcys Korazin with Mekira-oto +1 and Ogier's Breeches - or do they not stack/diminishing returns?

Additionally, considering inventory, should I bother with any other Phorcys pieces - outside of just being a completionist and collecting the whole set?

Phorcys is still useful for Calamity for whenever you have 2000+ tp. It's been eclipsed by Sombra harness for the magic weaponskills though.

Mekira +1 and Gavialis Helm will out perform otomi (aug) on active days for Ruinator. Ogier's 3% WSD doesn't do well against the ilvl stat vomit on most current gear so you can throw those away.

As for the other phorcys pieces, they've all been replaced by other ilvl gear for a while now. Can't think of where any other piece would fit into any current gearsets.

for tp how do felistris mask and iuitl+1(DA2) compare to otomi? I'd have thought better than otomi

For the most part it's Otomi (8 str aug) > Felistris > Iuitl +1 (DA2).

When you start getting into trivial pre soa mobs then it's
Felistris > Iuitl +1 > Otomi by pretty small margins.

Anybody have list of top best pet/owner foods I no there some new food but no stats was wondering what people using?

Same reason why Otomi beats both. The extra attack and str outweighs 2 DA in a set that has an OAT offhand.

As for trival through DC dynamis mobs, iuitl +1 (aug) pulls ahead of felistris and anything after that it's felistris > iuitl +1. It's all pretty close though.


EDIT: I switched out some other gear and used ej boots instead of xaddi and was able to get iuit +1 DA to come ahead of felistris. It really depends on what your setup is.

was wondering what type dmg bst are getting from woh gates job point camp on the bats?
7k to 8k cloudsplitter but with 3000tp
3k to 5k onslaught avg 1000tp to 2000tp
1.5k to 4k ruinator 1000tp to 2000tp
2k to 4k rampage 1000tp to 2000tp
this is with a 3 song brd and using acc food does the dmg seem right or should I be doing more dmg?
I been using falkirk sets but none up to date for 2015 so been using punk best I can for gear I have. Anyway post your dmg if you farm job points there :)

Ruinator seems a bit low. Probably need more accuracy in that set. Other than that it seems about right without KI up.

I swear this gear guide is tempting me to pick up beast again!

is there a good alternative to Nomkah Mittens +1 for tp build? 12mil a little out of my price range at the moment.
Currently using Iuitl wristbands +1.

Aetosaur Gloves +1 should be a decent holdover. :)

I used regimen mittens before I got my nomk +1's. Regimen, Xaddi path C, Buremte (aug), Aetosaur +1 and Nilas gloves are all pretty close.
