I use this set. Just need 2 stp on the body I think to keep a 6 hit. Anyway, the augment is da3 stp3 so it works.

Edit - Of course swap in Af3+2 hands for Restraint up and all that jazz.

I think they were implying something to do with MP merits you'd have to have to activate the latent on that ring + the -75 HP on the bullwhip.

Asking this here (NECRO!) cause it's about TP sets.

Currently I'm at 22% haste (bullwhip, +2 legs, +1 feet, brego hands). Would it be better to throw on Brego helm to cap haste, or use +2 head?

My assumption would be to cap haste anyway possible for now. I don't have zelus/goading and not particularly keen on the idea putting in the time to get gear that'll be obsolete as soon as I get my hands on Phorcys. Which at this point in time I could merc if brego helm makes me so totally lolgimp that I noone would bother taking me.

Since i'm also rocking a 504 AH gaxe, I think the +14stp I'm in would be plenty for a 6 hit Upheaval build and I'll adjust it when I finish my Ukon.

If anyone wants to suggest AH pieces I can upgrade with (I know that Spiral could use some attention) I'm open for it.

Unless you plan on buying your NNI gear, I honestly wouldn't bring you if you wore that. If you have resolution merited, I'd take an AH greatsword that knew what they were doing before I'd take an ukon, too. Since the majority of your ODD is wasted on running around and crits aren't that valuable on the low level mobs in NI, either.

Brego helm isn't going to be the thing making you totally gimp. Goading belt still has uses in VW with haste from atmacites so it's not totally worthless. From my experience no one's going to take a laceratrice war with AF3+1 into NNI, but good luck.

I'd still aim for this set until you get your Ukon as a basic tp set until you can upgrade.

Edit - there are some cheap fixes like neck (rancor) and grip (claymore) that you can ah, but I pulled this from someone else and don't feel like recreating it with those changes.

Okay, guess I'll just buckle down and do it. Goading shouldnt be hard since Lacovie pops come as a byproduct of my Ukon/Vere farming anyways. Zelus is the one that'll be more annoying to get and I just need to get off my butt and farm the +2's for my feet.

Thanks.

Got my goading thanks to Suji. Trying to +2 my feet, so far i'm 3/13 (with a couple yellow procs that still gave me 0 +2s) on voyage stone from Ovni..... stingy jerk.

Ditch the phorcy's, get Valk Gloves instead. (20mp/20hp on gloves which should help your hp a little bit) then augment them with DA36str and some GA skill and they're better than phorcy's plus you have 95hp back with a phos.

Why exactly did you feel the need to respond to a four month old post ?

The merit shift suggestion didn't even make sense either. If you swap those hands out for any reason, you just broke your latent and will need to pop an ether or something.

Any good suggestions for hands/head option without Phorcys? I'm using Brego/Brego at the moment until I can manage to nab a Zelus Tiarra. What pair of gloves should I use with that? AF3 +2 look kinda underwhelming.

Also, with a Laceratrice is it better to use a Claymore or Pole grip?

I'd do claymore if you were using Raging Rush and Pole if you were using Upheaval, not sure though C:

Until you get Zelus you could go with Brego helm, af3+2 body, hands, legs, feet, bullwhip belt and blitz ring to hit 25% haste.

Once you get zelus stick to that and 4/5 af3+2. Remember af3+2 still give a bonus while restraint is up, so they're not bad at all.

As for the grips, I'd suggest using sword strap to lower the delay to that of Ukon (more less iirc). The stp you already have should be enough to maintain a 6hit.
