Asian people do eat cats. What most people don't realize is that doesn't mean they are eating domestic cats.

The people getting offended over this are most likely offended because this isn't the norm within their society, so their sense of morality goes against this.

If you were born and raised in a hypothetical culture where turning your deceased pets into minature aircraft was tradition, you would be a minority thinking it was wrong.

It's the same with how in some societies eating certain animals is fine but in other places they find that disgusting.

I watch Taboo on Natgeo cause I'm super social progressive and everyone else is just rubbish.

I know this is a long shot but I somehow find that eating meat, even a cat, as a source of protein more practical then turning it into a toy helicopter after it dies. Crazy I know.

Some cultures eat horses, some eat dog, some cultures find corn disgusting as well as pig.

I for one will straight ravage a new born pony if I was starving and it was a matter of survival. Meat is meat.
