My husband plays FF11 with me but I got him into it. I don't usually play MMOs. I'm just a Final Fantasy fan. I'm sure anyone who knows me in FF11 knows I'm a girl but my husband gets all the sexual comments aimed at him lol (from straight men).

What can i say , adicted to mithra, i do help them , give them stuff and spoil as much as i can XD , can't say most of them i meet over the years were girls or no, but now i keep a small amount of female friends that I know they are actual females, yes did meet 2 of them IRL , one of them been my GF at the time , but most guys will behave like that , is in our blood to spoil girls to get their attention back at us, so is not only girls who want attention :P

Probably best to keep it that way, last thing they'd need are stalkers and such lol. Not accusing OP of anything like that, but lets be honest here there are lonely gamers out there who are lacking proper social skills.

lol, my bf at that time and my roomate hook me up with that game.I broke like 2 years ago and still play.Some ppl find love via the game too.(like my case now)inb4 the hahaha elove, nono RL stuff.So no I dont think girls only play caus their bfs, they may hook you but in the end you get addicted on your own.

I got the game for my daughter just after CoP was released, and became curious and made a mithra for myself...then hubby made a character and son joined in with his own..then along came the mules.

Then came the jockying for game time..so we got a second account (nothing like being in a lvl 70 exp pt and getting booted cause hubby signing into game). I made Halfpint, daughter made another mithra..son made another char., and then the mules. Eventually we got another account for my daughter and later for my son (he prefers starcraft).

I am the only one who still consistently plays. My husband and I duo'd for a long time then he got bored and went to play another MMOg (not WOW) but comes back now and again.

I have never been involved in an on-line relationship in FF (have many deep friendships) have been asked several times...usually some younger guy who tries to convince me that age is just a number...(Not sure why..was always guys younger than my own kids trying to do this) .. but it's always a NO...i have gotten to the point that my age is the first thing I let them know about if the conversation ever turns "cozy".

As for the whole guys/girl thing... i know more guys who are playing mithra or female characters than i know of girsl playing female characters.. and the guys are more manipulative than ther girls are...go figure.
