GEO

- Include more interaction with GEO and their Loupon.
- Not a whole lot on this, just think GEO needs to be able to interact with the game more outside of a magic burst and throwing a bubble
- Make Concentric Pulse deal damage.

WHM

-Remove Full-Cure
- Add in New Spells:

  • Stoneskin II - Unique buff, Castable on targets. Base protection 300 HP - 700 HP depending on enhancing

  • Holy III - High damage light elemental damage.



General Changes:


- Lower Skillchain damage
- Increase Skillchain when different weapons are involved.
- Lower initial magic burst damage
- Increase magic burst damage for each spell casted in the Magic burst window

This is mainly to encourage group play and rewarding it far more than solo play (This is a MMO). The effects won't cripple solo-play too much but would ideally make group play ideal



- Create new content built around group-play with good rewards
- Rewards will include Idle- Sphere pieces and TP - Sphere pieces that help the user and those around them.

Honestly the two things I've always been bothered with since starting this game were:

1) The AH limit being 7 items per character
2) No usable search bazaar feature globally.

If they could somehow manage to allow us to search bazaars from anywhere, and sell more items (like 15/person), I'd be happy. They are already all about unifying the zones via shout, and the AHs tied together. This would just be the icing on the cake.

Minor piggy back over something Byrth mentioned a while back was the delay between server/client side. Because of that delay, its impossible to stop and immediately cast (you have to hold off for a second). I never cared for it when I started playing 10 years back, but now that I'm always on a mage job, I have noticed it a lot more. It would be much easier if I could stop/cast almost simultaneously.

My addition

-Change Klimaform from Dark Magic to Enhancing, so that it gains the benefit of Enhancing Magic Duration gear, and Perpetuance.
-REMA Katanas give two weapons so you can DW them, and both gain Aftermath bonuses in main and off hand
-Jubaku: Ni
-Ilvl Maat fight Master trial. 2100 JP to unlock. Each job that wins gets to fully cap all job merit categories.
-Change aftermaths on Mage REMAs. 3000tp = Nukes occationally deal 2x or 3x damage.
-Level 99 CoP rings
-Adjust HQ crafting so that the more of a particular recipe that you make, the likelihood that you HQ it increases. Resets to base every game day and when you actually make an HQ.

Practical:
1) Make so BRD songs sung under the effect of NiTro are undispellable. Buff Minuet base potency. Merge Madrigal and Prelude, triple the potency of Threnodies, double the values on minne, increase the base values on Etudes
2) Make more spells scale with Enhancing Magic Skill, even if just for 2-3 tiers
3) Allow more spells to be accession-ed, for instance Haste1
4) Change the conversion ratio on Vouchers>Beitetsu/Pluton/Boulder
5) Make so you get the best unity bonus as long as your current unity is within the first 5 places, not the first-only
6) Release shields with +3 crafting skills for specific professions, to say "hello!" to owners of Kupo Shield, which would still mantain the benefit of inventory saving, rarity and overall coolness
7) Remove the cap from ALL merits. Get everything maxed out, especially group 1 and group 2 merits
8) Make so you can spend Job Points when you're "Master!". Buy entry fees for High Tier Battlefields, Master Trials or a special item that at the cost of 10JPs. When used this item will grant 1 JP on the job you used it on. Put a daily/weekly cap on this item.
9) Increase the byte size of the network communication packets (see Byrth's posts on BG about it)
10) Rework the way Innin and Yonin work for Ninja. Remove the decay over time, make them undispellable, increase the range/radius of activation for Innin and put some other additional negative bonus on it in addition to -eva, remove the accuracy penalty for Yonin, Grant it some DT2, MDB and a % for AoE spells/TPmoves that would normally rip all shadows, to just consume a certain number of them when Yonin is up. Add some other negative effect, not sure what, walking Speed-? Something that wouldn't damage a tank properly doing his job but that would discourage particularly "creative" (ab)uses of the stance
10) Unnerf Victory Smite and overall slightly raise the stats of some H2H WS



Dream-like stuff
1) Release a new Expansion (Far East!!)
2) Update game client for DX9+
3) Completely remove POL
4) Update light shaders and give native 60fps support
5) Add more Alliance focused content aimed at organized Linkshells

Make Conquest Great Again!
  • Expeditionary Force II
    Players can now purchase special key items to begin higher level Expeditionary Force at Beastmen Banners throughout Conquest areas. The content level for new Expeditionary Force will challenge iLv. 119 players. Rewards from successful high level Expeditionary Force include great increase to their nation's influence over the region, Conquest points, Capacity points, and Dynamis currencies.

  • Conflict - Duels
    Players can now challenge others in a one on one (1 vs. 1) player-versus-player (PVP) duel throughout Conquest areas. Challengers can send Duel requests to others and Challengees must accept before a Duel can begin. Players whose HP reach 25% ("red zone") first loses. The winner of a Duel will be rewarded with Conquest points, Ballista points, and a slight increase to the winner's nation's influence over the region.
    *Players may not challenge others in Duels in city areas.
    *Players who duel those from the same nation will not increase the nation's influence over the region.

  • Conquest Ranking revamped
    More bonuses will be granted to players based on their nation's ranking:

    • 1st place: 15% Experience points and Capacity points increase when defeating normal monsters throughout all over Vana'diel. No fee for traveling between home point crystals.
    • 2nd place: 10% Experience points and Capacity points increase when defeating normal monsters throughout all over Vana'diel. +5% Conquest points increase with all content rewards. Increase nation influence in a region with all content rewards by 10%
    • 3rd place: 5% Experience points and Capacity points increase when defeating monsters throughout all over Vana'diel. +10% Conquest points increase with all content rewards. Increase nation influence in a region with all content rewards by 20%
      *Players do not need Signet to receive bonuses.
      *In the event of a tally draw and/or alliance, the ranking where both nations lie shall have bonuses applied accordingly (e.g. Bastok and Windurst tied and alliance at 2nd place, +10% EXP,+5%Conq.Pts.,Nat.Influ.+10% bonuses applied

  • Defeating Voidwalker and Voidwatch notorious monsters will now reward players with Conquest points.

  • Players can now purchase Heavy Metal Plates, Riftdross, and Riftcinder, as well as Voidwatch equipment rewards with Conquest points via the NPCs "Atmacite Refiner".



Make Promyvions Great Again!
  • Promyvion II battlefields (ENMs)
    Players are now able to purchase special key items to begin a high level Promyvion battles in all Promyvion areas. The new Promyvion content level has been raised to challenge Lv.99 - iLv.119 players. Successful victories will reward players with hefty Experience points and Capacity points, Conquest points, and a great increase in their nation's influence over the surrounding regions.
    *E.g. Clearing instances in Promyvion - Konschtat will increase the nation's influence over Gustaberg, Movalpolos, Defland, and Kuzotz.
    Players will also have a chance of receiving items used to spawn Al'Taieu notorious monsters (e.g. Jailer of Love) as well as items used to enter Limbus (e.g. Central Apollyon II).



Make Aht Urghan Great Again!
  • Besieged revamped
    Besieged content level has been increased to challenge Lv. 99 players.
    *Enemies and NPCs will have their attributes raised accordingly.

  • Trusts can now be called forth in Besieged.

  • The contribution that players fulfilled has been reformulated and have their cap greatly raised.

  • The maximum amount of Experience points and Imperial Standing rewarded upon a victorious Besieged has been greatly increased.
    *Players who are below Lv. 60 will have their Experience points and Imperial Standing rewards reduced.

  • Players will now be rewarded with Capacity points upon a victorious Besieged.

  • New NPCs have been added throughout Al Zahbi.
    Upon a victorious Besisged, players will now be rewarded Imperial currency based on their evaluation via new NPCs.
    Players can now exchange Imperial currency for Besieged medicine that can be used at anytime.

  • Sanction will now apply Regen, Refresh, and increased food duration automatically at no extra cost.
    *Sanction bonuses will not be applied if Al Zahbi is not in possession of the Astral Candescence.

  • Players can now purchase Alexandrite with Imperial currency via the NPC "Zasshal".

  • Trusts can now be called forth in Assaults, including Nyzul Isle, and Salvage.

  • Conflict - The Colosseum
    Players can now challenge others in a three on three (3 vs. 3) player-versus-player (PVP) Duel in Aht Urghan's The Colosseum (K-10). Two parties of 3 players each can reserve a time slot at The Colosseum for a party Duel. Players whose HP reach 1% will be rendered unable to fight and transported to the sidelines. The winning party will be rewarded with Imperial Standing and a hefty reward of Imperial currency.
    A ranking system has been implemented to showcase the top 25 three-person parties. Parties who challenge those in the top 25 will be able to earn larger rewards if victorious. Likewise, parties within the top 25 ranks who challenge those at a higher rank will be able to earn larger rewards.
    *A scheduled maintenance will be implemented to reset the rankings once per Earth year.
    *Only one Duel may be conducted at one time during its scheduled time slot. Players who are awaiting their time slot may enter and spectate other's battle. Also, players who wish only to spectate may enter The Colosseum.
    *At this time, there is a maximum number of players that can spectate in The Colosseum. This is to ease congestion and ensure a "lag-free" experience to parties who are battling. A future update is planned to increase the number of instanced areas to The Colosseum, therefore increasing the number of Duels that can take place at one time.



Make Campaign Battles Great Again!
  • Campaign Battles II
    Players are now able to purchase a special key item with Allied Notes to begin a higher level Campaign Battle throughout the Shadowreign areas. The content level of the Campaign Battle will be raised to challenge iLv. 113 players. With the key item, a player can speak with a Campaign Arbiter when a Campaign Battle is not occurring, and opting for a high leveled Campaign Battle. The following Campaign Battle in the area will have its content level increased.
    *Enemies and NPCs will have their attributes raised accordingly.
    After a victorious Campaign Battle, players will receive a hefty Experience points and Capacity points reward. The amount of Allied Notes rewarded has been greatly increased.
    *Players who are below Lv. 75 will have their Experience points and Allied Notes rewards reduced.

  • Enemies defeated in Campaign Battles will now have a chance of dropping 1-unit and 100-unit Dynamis currencies.
    *Treasure will be rewarded to the person, party, or alliance who have dealt the killing blow on an enemy. In the event an enemy was defeated by an NPC, no treasure will be granted.

  • Players are now automatically enrolled in a Union upon receiving Allied Tags.
    *Players can select which Union they are automatically enrolled in by speaking to their countries' respective Campaign Ops arbiter.

  • Players can now receive skill ups in Campaign Battles.

  • Players can now purchase Dynamis currencies with Allied Notes.



Item-related
  • New items for purchase with Conquest points, Imperial Standing, and Allied Notes have been added.
    Instant Scroll of Transformation: Instantaneously changes Main Job. 5-minute weakness will be inflicted.
    Instant Scroll of Diversification: Instantaneously changes Sub Job. 5-minute weakness will be inflicted.




System-related
  • The maximum number of Records of Eminence objectives that can be taken has been raised from 30 to 50.

  • Players' maximum inventory space has been increased from 80 to 99.
    *Maximum inventory space will be applied to every inventory bag.
    *Quests that increase a player's inventory space will have their rewards scaled.

  • The game has been optimized to support 60 frames per second (FPS).
    *Users must adjust their graphics options manually using the FFXI Config Tool.

  • Legacy Players:
    Players will now earn in-game items after a continuous and consecutive billing cycle.

    • Players who have had a billing cycle history for a total of 5 years (60 months) will have access to Mog Wardrobe 3 & 4 at no extra charge.
      *Applies to one Content ID only
    • Players who have had a billing cycle history for a total of 10 years (120 months) will have access to Mog Wardrobe 3 & 4 at no extra charge.
      *Applies to up to three Content IDs
      Content ID subscription fee will reduced from $12.95(USD) to $7.95(USD).
      *Applies to the first Content ID. Additional Content IDs will remain at $1.00(USD).
    • Vana'dielian Birthday
      Players who have had a billing cycle of 12 CONSECUTIVE months will receive a Mog Pell (Rainbow) on the date of their first Content ID was created.
      *Users must use the Square Enix Members website to claim the Mog Pell (Rainbow) and select which Content ID and character will obtain the item.

I would do two things.

Something quick and fun to do solo as soon as you log in. When wildskeeper campaign was on, you can log in and do wildskeeper for hp Baylds. I would make a battlefield that you can't use trusts with a couple of waves of enemies with bosses. Beating a certain wave grants you choices of rewards. Therefore if not that much people soloing then u can beat less waves for still decent rewards and cap at 64 people.

I would make all damn campaigns permanent cause u know losing sleep trying to take advantage of double capacity campaigns sucks.

never miss a stun, heal, a claim a skillchain/mb, lotting an item, ninja lotting, or running away with LS's bank. we got that covered.

Thats a great idea! I'd make trusts ninja lot your stuff.. afk... drop pt if you mess up one thing... make you shout for 40-60 mins to actually summon a trust...

Was going to make a joke about taking all this time to type out and format these, but after reading, I realized that, with the possible exception of pvp and 60 fps, literally all of this is completely doable for SE without changing so much as a single art asset (and with minimal development resources) - they just choose not to put in any effort in whatsoever. I'm not laughing now.

Puppetmaster & Monk
Fix the Hand-to-Hand damage calculations to put this weapon class on par with one-handed and two-handed weapons.
Fix the Animators to provide Magic Accuracy Skill to Automatons.
New Attachments: Aquaveil / Souleater (both trigger as JAs).

Dark Knight
Increase the fTP and modifiers for Scythe weapon skills.
Instead of only lasting for one attack, Scarlet Delirium stores damage taken from attacks for a 10-15 window before wearing off and applying a portion of damage taken as an Attack Bonus & Magic Atk. Bonus buff.
Entropy's INT modifier is replaced with STR and it no longer takes MP, instead it's damage varies with TP making it a Scythe version of Resolution with different skillchain properties.

Dragoon
Equipment with 'Jump TP Bonus' now applies to Spirit and Soul Jump.

Corsair
Blitzer's Roll no longer provides a weapon delay reduction, it instead gives 'Equipment Haste' capping out at 25% with XI.

Red Mage
Is given a new job trait, Magic Accuracy Bonus. Red Mages gain Magic Accuracy Bonus V at Lv99 and it provides a total of +70 Magic Accuracy.
En-spell II added effect of damage now activates on all melee strikes.
New Spells: Virus / Amnesia.
New Ability: Bestow (10:00 reuse timer) (Lv90)
Enables the next Enhancing Magic spell to be cast on a party member.

White Mage
New Spells: Barlightra / Bardarkra / Barcharmra / Barcursera
Full-Cure no longer consumes all MP. It now consumes 400 MP.

Black Mage
New Spells: Void / Void II / Void III / Void IV / Void V

Paladin
Shield Bash now has an added effect of reducing the Evasion and Magic Evasion of the target by 25% for 1:30, this is enhanced further with the Aegis.

Ninja
New Ability: Hanbatsu (2:30 reuse timer) (Lv90)
The next self-targeting Ninjutsu spell will be copied to all party members within area of effect but consume more Ninja Tools proportional to the number of party members affected.
Ninja now has the Critical Attack Bonus trait and gains III tiers of it.

Rune Fencer
Ward: Pflug now affects all party members within area of effect.
Ward: Liement now has a 30 second duration and will absorb incoming elemental damage a number of times proportional to the runes harbored during activation.

Blue Mage
Mighty Guard no longer provides a Haste effect.
Job Trait Bonus II is removed, replaced with Spell Attribute Bonus II.

Bard
New Spell: Warlock's Sonata
Increases magic accuracy and magic attack for party members with area of effect.
New Spell: Oracle's Hymn
Reduces casting time and recast timers for party members within area of effect.

Fix H2H WS dmg

Warrior: Give a JA haste ability
Monk: Remove CS penalty
WHM: Barlightra/Bardarkra/Amnesna or have erase remove it. Full cure fixed MP rate 300-400. Give a use to Dagan, since Mystic Boon is generally superior.
RDM: Able to cast Temper/Temper II on other party members. Haste III to cap magic haste. Fix enhancing tiers.
BLM fix Claustrum!!!!

Actually update Monstrosity, give proper rewards to incentivize doing it.

I'd finish Monstrosity.
- add the rest of the families.
- add Party system
- add MvM system
- buff the PvM rewards to make them matter
- finish the Monstrosity Story (although I have no idea where it was going cause they never expanded on this after the first quest)
- add the ability to do certain events (BCNMs, ENMs, Dynamis, etc) while in Monstrosity.
- add Quest chains with the beastmen races to unlock them for use in monstrosity.

I'd make campaign battles start when the enemies arrive and end when they retreat, and lose all that random dead time where you don't know if there's still more coming or not.
Maybe this is not the most relevant content anymore, but it's a bit relevant after all the recent VW campaigns ate up all our voidstone stock. All the dead time is just annoying.

People still crying "nerf blu" don't know how to ffxi and have no idea the potential of other jobs. They only cry "nerf blu" because they hear others say it.
Last time I checked, there's jobs like sch and blm that also got incredible 1200 gifts.
The only thing more annoying than people bandwagoning jobs is people bandwagoning hatred towards jobs.
