The GOP Shut Down a Program That Could Have Prevented Dallas and Baton Rouge

Trump is blaming Obama for police shootings. But seven years ago Republicans halted a federal study that sought to detect potential radicalization by veterans.
Strange, 7 years ago the liberals/democrats had a supermajority in Congress.

How is that again Bush's Republican's fault? Oh right, by allowing Obama to get elected....
Just quoting and reporting King. Not defending.

Read the fripping article and get back to me later.

I'll put it this way: At least the dems have a plan. What does Herr Drumpfler have, beyond an enraged legion of white supremacists and homophobic bigots?

False Choice

My point is that the DNC (not just Debbie) colluded to shut out Bernie from as far back as May 2015 and get their golden choice candidate in at all costs with no regard to impartiality. They categorized people into as pitiful stereotypes as they accuse their opponents of doing - see "taco bowls". *** disgusting, and couple with the fact that Hillary willfully hires on Debbie right after the scandal shows that she just doesn't give a ***and knows she is untouchable at this point. I just hope Julian has some real fire power to reveal to the public in the near future, because this is getting too outlandish to stomach.

Ansbach, Germany (CNN)An explosion in the southern German city of Ansbach was a suicide attack, according to the region's interior minister. The bomber died in the blast.
A device was exploded by a 27-year-old Syrian national outside a music festival. He had been denied entry into the event due to the lack of a ticket, Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said during a news conference early Monday.

Twelve people were injured, three seriously.
The man, who has not yet been named, stood around the festival entrance for a short period before he blew himself up. The music festival and surrounding area were evacuated.
Authorities said the bomber had entered Germany two years ago and had previously applied for asylum in Germany, but his application had been rejected. He remained in the country as it is German policy to not allow rejected applicants to return to war zones.
Herrmann said the attacker's backpack contained screws and nails, an apparent attempt to inflict further damage.
He was also known to police in Ansbach for previous offenses, including violations of "narcotics law," Herrmann said. He had also previously twice attempted suicide. However, the incident is being treated as a suicide bombing as opposed to a suicide attempt.
"Because how this backpack and the bomb were packed, especially with so many metal splinters, which could have killed and injured many more people, this act cannot be purely assessed as a suicide," Herrmann explained.

Ansbach is also a major U.S. military garrison town, with around 5,000 members of the military living there, along with civilians, contractors and retirees. There are three military installations in the Ansbach area, according to the garrison's website.
Officially this attack is not confirmed as terrorism, he said, but there are strong indications it may be.
Special Forces in Munich are on the scene investigating, police said.
Violence has struck Germany in several places recently.
On Sunday, a man killed a woman with a machete in Reutlingen. The 21-year-old Syrian asylum seeker came to Germany one year ago, according to a police statement, and he was known to police for property thefts and assault.
Police said the woman was 45 years old and from Poland.

I have been saying this and will continue to until it happens for almost 14 years strong that the United States needs to push aside these political parties. We started out without any political parties in the beginning, we can remove them and go on forward to a brighter future without them.

150ish years of division calling people label's and redefining what words mean needs to come to a end.

" I'm a Democrat " "I'm a Republican " " I'm a libertarian " " I'm a conservative ".

No *** that it's already in the works We are getting rid of it.

We are AMERICANS who are Independent Individuals who live in the United States of America. We really fell off that slogan " United We Stand Divided We Fall "

Because looking at the current state of the United States we are clearly divided from the honest truth in ONE QUESTION.

Are We The People of the United States of America being Represented or Misrepresented?

My answer is Misrepresented and I know I'm not alone in this. We can change this.

(CNN)Two people are dead and at least 14 others injured after a shooting at a Fort Myers, Florida, nightclub, according to Captain Jim Mulligan of the Fort Myers Police.
The shooting took place in the parking lot of Club Blu Bar and Grill, according to CNN affiliate WINK.

Police didn't say how many shots were fired but at least 30 yellow evidence markers were placed placed around the front of establishment.
Injuries ranged from minor to life threatening. All victims were transported from the scene by Lee County Emergency Medical Services to area hospitals. Police are working to identify the deceased.
A Facebook flier advertised a "Swimsuit Glow Party" at the establishment Sunday night. The flier said that no identification would be required to enter, meaning the party was open to all ages.
The call alerting police to the shooting was received at 12.30 a.m.
Investigators and crime scene personnel are continuing to determine what occurred, along with possible motives for the incident.
Police are investigating two other related scenes, one on Ortiz Avenue, where a person of interest has been detained. The other scene is on Parkway Street.
Gunshots at the Parkway Street scene hit property hit and one person was grazed by a bullet, according to WINK.
An all-out search for people involved in the incident is underway, police said.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle that had a suspect in it, Mulligan added, but did not give any additional detail about the stop.
Developing story - more to come

So? And somehow, this means what again? My argument is that the Republicans couldn't do a damn thing in the first 2 years of Obama's tenure because they had next to no power to do anything, and yet, it seems like everyone is blaming the Republicans for everything that happened in 2009 and 2010.

I'm sure you are going to argue with me about that too, aren't you? Because, in your version of reality, the Republicans had the supermajority and also passed Obamacare and a bunch of ***since then....

The frustrating thing is that there basically isn't a candidate for any true liberals/progressive in this race. And while I'm sure from a "whatever happens, we win somehow" standpoint I'm sure that's thrilling for the right, but even they have to be outraged in some fashion. At least from an abstract point of view, if not a pragmatic one.

Hillary: Technically supports the Democrat's platform, though has a questionable history and is shady as a subterranean cave.

Trump: Do I really even need to go here?

Johnson: At least he's socially progressive? But he'd happily gut government spending and privatize everything, which would be amazing in theory, but I trust the private industry to run government services even less than the worst of government organizations (looking at you, FDA, FCC.)

I guess my vote right now is with Johnson and putting my faith in either him not being able to pass certain things because it would be political suicide for Congress and/or the private industry proving my distrust wrong?

I dunno. It's really frustrating and I remain so irritated with the fact Hillary managed to win out over Bernie.

A vote for Johnson is a vote for the Trans Pacific Partnership free trade deal to allow multinational corporations break Sovereign nations laws. So they can no longer be held accountable for their reckless behavior with any nation's economy and its peoples jobs.He is on record pledging his support for it.

A vote for Clinton is the same as the above.

The only TWO candidates named Trump and Sanders are against the TPP and for good reasons.

Free trade deals have *** the United States work force for far too long we have heard the constant vacuum noise of our industries and manufacturing jobs leaving our nation's shores while our unemployment rates skyrocket. It needs to end its going to end it should of ended a long time ago. People are starting to wake up and realize BOTH parties voted for these free trade deals and BOTH parties are responsible for the economic woes.

Good, great, fine.

Maybe that's not even in my top 10 issues I care about.

Ever think about the fact that maybe everyone isn't as worried about the same things you are? It's almost like we're free-thinking individuals and we each prioritize the issues on our own level and how these things affect us.

In my instance, while I dislike the TPP in theory, it has both positives and negatives for me in my life, so it's really a wash, and other issues take precedent.

What the ***? Where in the hell do you even get this? Even if you just imagined it, it's still far out there.

You obviously don't know one iota about trade agreements....

If you think trade agreements between governments is a driving factor of outsourcing, you need to lay off whatever medications you are currently on.

It may be an unintended consequence, but it's not a factor, nor even a purpose of said trade agreements.

Which, coincidentally, is why if I do the I Side With poll it tells me I only agree with Johnson on 46% of the issues. But so many of the issues it says we disagree on, their middling differences of opinion that aren't really relevant.

For instance. Fracking. In theory, I am for 100% banning it.

But he's for allowing it with stricter regulation.

My ideal is just that. An ideal. I realize that compromise is often necessary. If we're going to let it keep going with more stringent oversight, I count that a win, albeit not as much of one as I'd like.

Which means we really only have a handful of issues we really disagree on.

That's not just today. It's always been like that in America.

That's sort of the point, isn't it? If we were worried about society more than ourselves socialism wouldn't be such a hard sell. But we have a very individualistic approach to life. There's nothing wrong with that, but that's America. The "greater good" only counts of you're part of the group that benefits from that good.

It doesn't say "crazy" but it has codes.
Codes which show ones bloodtype, allergies, and if they have a criminal record or have medical conditions, Crazy being a medical conditions. Staff at nightclubs, hotels, seminars, public events have the codes printed out and refer to them..

Actually, capitalism is a proponent of the greater good of society, not socialism.

Read The Wealth of Nations and you will get what I'm talking about.

Distribution of wealth promotes stagnation and inefficiencies, not growth or betterment. It would only work if we grow to a point where society cannot advance further (the so-called utopia of society) and we all become more than humans. Only then will stagnation is preferred over advancement (because we cannot advance further). That will never happen.

Kind of depends on what you consider the "greater good."

If it depends upon keeping a certain group of people below you to act in service to you, does it count?

Some say yes. Others disagree.

It needs to be revamped, especially waste water disposal (to name 1 problem), but not banned outright.....

I can't speak for other states, but our IDs (driver's license, in most cases) generally only cite basic identification (height, gender, eye color) and medical conditions that would effect driving (for instance, I have glasses, so I have a "corrective lenses" restriction on my license. So if I get pulled over driving with uncorrected vision, they know to address that.)

I don't know if non-driver's license issued ID cards have the medical restriction stuff.

Otherwise, no. No other medical information. Unsure if people with a criminal record/restrictions have that on their license, as I have none and can't tell looking at mine.

How They Brainwash A Nation_ we are in stage 3

This amazing interview was done back in 1985 with a former KGB agent who was trained in subversion techniques. He explains the 4 basic steps to socially engineering entire generations into thinking and behaving the way those in power want them to. It's shocking because our nation has been transformed in the exact same way, and followed the exact same steps.

If that's what you think Capitalism is all about, then why are you for Socialism?

The whole concept of Socialism is to keep everyone below the "ruling class" of people who decide what we should all do, wear, eat, sleep, drive, etc.

Socialism, at it's very core, is about controlling the population. You no longer have a decision as to what car you want to drive in, what size house you want to live in, what sort of job you want to work for, if you want a Samsung TV or a LG TV, or any of the millions of choices we enjoy today. There is no choices to be made in a socialistic society, you have to buy whatever the state sells you, regardless of quality. You don't even have a choice if you want the product or not!
