One of my mules can login. Three out of four characters can't login, ATT DSL also.. I have 2 other accounts and those all work fine. Tried a diff PC and rebooting router/modem. Still won't work.
What's the ETA on maintenance?
Using my phone as a hot spot let me log in.

Same issues. Stuck trying to load bastok. 1 account on same PC works, other doesn't.

Logging in with a VPN service fixed it, so It looks like there are some routing issues going on.
It happened again to me after I switched back to my normal internet instead of my phone.
Can't log on with my standard AT&T Internet. Soon as I switched to my Verizon MiFi it worked on my main but not my Leathercraft mule.

I was able to login using a vpn connection.
I was logged in all damn day until 8:30 pm, (i got on like 5 mins after the 1st post in this thread), and now i cannot log in my main, at all.
Keeps getting to the DL'ing data screen but wont go farther.

I don't know but it's getting super annoying. I try to zone and it get stuck on downloading data screen then kicks me out, when i try to get back in get another error

About a day later and I still can't get in, and when I do everything is running extremely slowly. I knew I was probably going to stop playing the game soon but I didn't think it would be this sudden.
Blah I have the same problem on 2 accounts. Frustrating
This is ridiculous... if you really want to sign in, using a VPN does work though.
There are plenty of free ones out there, some are having trouble getting through the first phases using it. If so, you need to get to the character select screen, then turn on the VPN and try to load in.

Awesome! The proxy idea allowed me to get my chars unstuck.
It doesn't really need to be a VPN, a proxy sure works too and you can setup a proxy easily within the POL software without need install anything on the computer.

Just going to bump this thread, I am unable to connect to Playonline currently when trying to log in, anyone else having this issue? Everything else seems to be working fine...
Yea, most of my characters and linkshell have disconnected in the last 30 minutes. None of us can log back in.
All servers apparently experiences straggled DC that slowly killed everyone. POL is not allowing people to login.
I am as well, I got d/c'd form FFXI then can not get passed the playonline log in screen.
Yea my game crashed a few mins ago and now it doesn't seem possible to log in. PoL just keeps giving me network error messages after trying a bit.
Same here. Was doing Ambuscade with shell and got instant dc. Cannot log back in.
Guess this means I can start populating BG wiki with the new information then.
