Thanks! It's very fast now, within one sec.
Still leaves alot of items in my inv that shouldn't be there though

Section from Chato staff to Enfeeb neck.

It's always my locker that it doesn't put items back into. It's currently 40/80 in there.
Here's my settings just in case

Locker and Safe2 have the same dump_bags priority. Also, you can take inventory and wardrobe out of bag_priority/dump_bags; inventory and wardrobe are always part of bag_priority and dump bags, since you need them to move equipment around (and it's fewer things to cycle through).

I noticed that right after I posted, just fixed it and tried switching between all my jobs and it worked completely flawlessy.
Don't know why it shared the same prio though, don't remember messing with those values manually before.

Seems you've figured everything out with this ver , nicely done!

Well... it does all work for me now.. I must have misunderstood one of your directions last night, because adding <inventory> back into <bag_priority> immediately fixed everything that had stopped working while trying to figure out the original problem. So I will say its working fantastic for me!
Thanks for all the help, you are a scholar and a gentleman.

Bug report: Using organizer with your mog locker lease expired can cause gearswap to hang. I tried reloading "lua r gearswap" and nothing happens. I reload organizer but still hangs. You have to completely log out. I do have the debugging and set to wait between each move on. Luacore seems to not respond to reloads if there's a busy wait in effect.

Bug report 2: It ignores my ignore list I had to resort to doing this to keep my rings in my inventory:
sets.keep = {
left_ring="Warp Ring",
}
sets.keep2 = {
left_ring="Echad Ring",
right_ring="Trizek Ring",
}

Perhaps just take advantage of this and have unlimited items under a sets.ignore in gearswap.

I fixed a bug with ignore earlier today. It should be live now. What version are you using?

Also, is your locker still expired? I'd like to give you some things to test if you have the time/willingness. Mine are all paid through 2016 or something, so it's not something I can test.

Well, after initial use v.2015.05.31 seems to be working perfectly. Collection is nigh on instant and all items/gear are moved correctly. Great work Rooks have a drink or three on me !

Which version?
Locking up as in luacore crash, POL crash, taking a long time...?
Is there an organizer-debug.log with something useful in it?
How full are your inventories?
Can I see your settings?
Do you have verbose on?
Are you using //org or //gs org?

[Edit: nevermind, you have a log. Drop it somewhere like dropbox or something, or at least tell me what the last action in it is (like the last 80 lines or so in a PM is fine)]

There's a ton of extra debugging info in there (because people kept reporting crashed but there was never enough info to solve it). It's slow because it's writing a log file - a large log file; that logging is actually removed in the devel version, which will hopefully go live shortly.

If you want to speed it up in the meantime, in organizer.lua there's a structure at line 83, set all of those to false and it'll stop writing log files. If it's still slow after that, let me know.

Perfect Rooks, it worked just fine now.

So, it will already add to a stack if it finds one, but there isn't anything that scans all the bags ahead of time to put it in the right one. I was originally going to make this a separate command, //org consolidate, so as to not add even more to the existing workflow (which is already doing an awful lot of things).

It's been pushed back because of actual bugs (specifically crash-bugs), RL concerns, and the fact that the wife is going to smack me if I don't stop and play a little bit ;)

This is true, but if you fix this can you make wardrobe NOT default? Inventory makes sense, but it would be great to not be forced to use wardrobe, as I keep explicit items in there to make it easier to play on console.

I should clarify.

There are preferences, bag_priority and dump_bags, and then access restrictions (called _valid_pull and _valid_push internally). Organizer won't pull from bags not in bag_priority or push to bags not in dump_bags. It can't pull or push from bags not in the _valid lists. When organizer starts, it constructs those two from bag_priority and dump_bags, then adds in inv/wardrobe so you can't config yourself into an impossible situation where it spins because it can't do anything.

So it won't (shouldn't!) force you to use wardrobe, it's just an extra defense against infinite loops. If it's screwing with your wardrobe and it shouldn't be, let me know.

And by "play" you mean FFXI or THAT kind of play :D?
Because if it's ffxi, geez, i need a girl like that.

Jokes aside, Rooks, thank you for being always helpful and accessible. You have been great!

I mean FFXI ;) She actually demands that I play something or other, because without some kind of semi-mindless stress valve I'm an obnoxious bundle of nervous energy wandering the house, wrecking everyone's zen.

My playtime/dev time is weird because we split time tending the sprout, to make sure the other is getting proper "down" time. So, when I'm not using my downtime to actually relax, it just means I'm wound too tight all the time and no fun to be around for anyone ;)

The debug logging is now turned off in live.

Organizer is currently stable! I've not had a crash report from a current version for almost a week. \o/

I'm going to hold off on tweaking it any more for a while, but I'm still open to suggestions, and as always, let me know if you find a bug.

I've gotten most of consolidate written if that's the one you mean; my time during the week is always a little weird, so I'll probably finish it up this weekend. It doesn't interfere with the main organizer workflow, which is the thing I'm really trying not to touch for a little bit.

If you've got code to send me, though, PM or gist or something is fine :) But if you don't mind waiting til the weekend anyway, I've already got it handled.
