Free Skill Ups

Just as a note as i have used this to skill every weapon to max all you need to do is take a weapons skill lvl to 80 and then go put it on it and WALK AWAY. you cannot get gm'ed/banned for this as your autoattacking it i did it while i slept at night.
But to help those out who need it here are some tips.
stand at the bottom of the stairs as you see tiger doing in his pic
dont cast magic due to elementals in area
Dont weaponskill it why cause your killing it ya idiots

use lowest dmg weapon you can if using staff go with a signet staff IE take yourself to dynamis and get a stage 1 relic dmg1 delay 999 or do the latent effect +1 weapons for crafting and obtain those to use on it

stack as much acc gear as you can and NO DMG gear YOU WANT THE MOB TO LAST AS LONG AS POSSIBLE

ie 5000hp mob dmg 1 weapon = 5000 possible swings at it

This is *** sex on fire lol... i'm totally capping gsword, club, staff asap before they patch this. And it's technically not cheating/glitched i think.... i wonder if they did this on purpose.

Do they respawn the fortalice at a decent rate?

Confirmed on my end as well, they repop 35 mins on the dot from when they were completely destroyed.

I was in a pt with 1-2 other people for 2.1 of them (joined in on a party with someone else when it had 10% left, then the other guy joined us for the next two starting at 100%), and went from 229 to 335 (sword), then the other two left and I did the whole thing on my own (from 100%), went from 235 to 243.

Btw, just becuase I haven't see it mentioned here, and I figured since it was campaign related this wouldn't be a problem (hey, if I assumed it, then I'm sure someone else did as well) You can't attack one that someone is already attacking, unless you're in a PT with them, luckily for me, someone was nice enough to sacrafice the speed of their own gain to let me in on it.

So either team up, or treat it as you would an NM and claim the son of a *** the second it pops.

Briefly skimmed over the posts and I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but, the fortalice wont regen if left alone.

The party im in now all DC'ed, so I figured i'd logout and try it. No dice :(

100% sure. d/c's when i fell asleep but got to 254. Next one should cap me off (for lv 74 -.- i dlv'd yesterday)

everyone catching onto this now.. people are even camping the respawns and solo ing it.. fun times. or not if your unlucky enough to see that dude with dmg1 daggers /away ..

EDIT: Just going to warn anyone planning on skilling up with Great Sword, if you plan to use the Chaosbringer (DRK quest weapon), its delay causes the fortalice to become unclaimed at certain points. Not sure whether that's the case for other weapons though as I've only tested it with GS.

However I have gone AFK and come back to find "your target has been claimed".

Loses hate very rapidly. Makes no diff though at least not for me I've had it go afk every attack round and I went to sleep w/ it on last night and nobody *** w/ me

* Enter Chateau d'Oraguille and go to the Queen Leaute Memorial Garden (F-7).
* Talk to Chalvatot, who is nearby. He will seem upset and not willing to help if you are not of the San d'Oria allegiance.
* Talk to Chalvatot again and receive a cutscene(if you do not get the cutscene you must zone out of Chateau d'Oraguille and back in.) Accept the Quest. Default Selection is No, so make sure you're not spamming enter to skip through the dialogue.
* Trade Chalvatot a Derfland Humus to complete the quest.
* You will have obtained a Key Item: Map of the Northlands Area. Congratulations!

Great I spend weeks capping every weapon on DRK then this comes along v.v

I'm waiting around for a repop, so I thought I'd turn the game music up and see if it was different to present day.

And with that, this place gives me the *** creeps. I stopped dead in my tracks when i spotted the flying imps, seeing as I died twice by them in Xarcabard with their super-crazy-long eyesight.

...I like it.


But yeah, if anyone sees me there, I'm happy to team up. I can usually spare a DMG:1 club and staff. I find it hard to afk, even when nothing compelling is keeping me around
