Anything could happen I don't know why people jump to conclusions about something...they vaguely understand. Net neutrality could be put back in place in two years also. So all this time worrying about something that "may" happen. Seems like a waste of time.

To be honest this is something that Congress needs to do law wise instead of a regulatory agency mucking with it. Internet access is a utility and needs to be treated as such. It's the functional equivalent of roads outside your home. It's not the FCC's job to try to regulate this using 90's ear laws.

I keep imagining politicians of days gone by trying to exist in today's world.

I really don't want to understand Twitter and if I want followers I'll do the Jim Jones method...

I seriously doubt it will go anywhere near that bad. Remember most mobile phones have better wireless service now that most people had wired internet in late 90s/early 2000s.
There wasn't any reason to change the regulations this way other than to give telecoms more power to micromanage web usage so my optimism is more than a little low about it all.
If NN rules had been around in the 2000s, we would not have Iphones.

Really, this repeal is probably going to be fought over in court, considering the fraud involved with false comments in favor and 50,000+ comments against being hidden, I don't really see how Pai will get his way.

Any court wrangling will lose.

Congress had already empowered the FCC with various regulatory powers and the Internet falls squarely within those due to laws made in the 90's. The FCC can then regulate the Internet provided it stayed within the boundaries of those laws. Awhile back the FCC classified ISP's in the same category as Telephone and Cable utilities which is what limited them, that classification was just changed back to the original classification. There is nothing to argue legal wise and emotions don't count for jack ***. The FCC is 100% within their legal right to do this and the laws granting them this power are 100% constitutional.

That is why I said real change needs to go through congress, they are able to amend those old laws to account for the modern necessity of the Internet. Remember back when they passed those laws the Internet was just a luxury, a leaning tool at best.

INCOMING REVIEW (without spoilers)

That director should be cooked alive it was such a terrible movie.

I had heard there were SJW-allegory aspects to this movie, but ther were to the last few so whatever right? WRONG! While they are sad in their own way, some movies know how to blend them into the story line. This movie does not, which does contribute to it's awfulness.

Aside from that stuff (which was awful), this movie is terrible. and by that I mean a steaming pile of ***. The timeline didn't really make sense. It was completely foreign in the overall Starwars universe. Massive plot elements that don't pass the even simplest logical criticism. The character development was absolutely abysmal. I mean so bad that I at one point though a Jar Jar Binks addition would have made the movie BETTER. A *** romantic interest that was less polished than Anakin and Padme. The list goes on and on.

It's a close call between this movie and Phantom Menace, which is has easily ranked as the worse of them all up to this point. However, I have always written TPM off as, "well it's kind of a kids movie", but THIS is that bad with no available excuse.

Not even worth the runtime investment on netflix, your life would be better enriched by mowing your lawn 5 times in one afternoon.

Want another one?

Cellular technology was invented in the 40s. But because we had an overreaching government regulatory agency, bureaucrats simply couldn't think of any logistical application for the tech until Reagan came along in the 80s. We could have had 30-40 years of cell phone progress on top of what we have today.

Those who don't understand history (you) are doomed to repeat it. Liberal policies are the exact OPPOSITE of progress.
