For thf, I expect the body to possibly be one of the best armor slot pieces for a stacked WS piece. The hands will be the best Trick Attack hands stacked with WS as well and head can potentially be a powerful piece for WS. Feet can be a good replacement for Jute Boots +1. Overall increase stat wise will probably be between 10-20%. Here are my predictions.

I expected a headache having to play catch up on all 22 Job Page -> Special Armors over at BG Wiki but I said screw it and banged out 2 new versions of our Template one will go live shortly after the update(I've already filled in all the new info) followed by the other within a month. GEO/RUN one will have the 2nd changes from the start since they are there own special thing anyway.
Here's to hoping SE sticks with just renaming the sets +2/+3 other wise I will have a headache again. FFXI Devs are allergic to work nowadays. I'm crossing my fingers that Totemic Gaiters +3 gives Reward II bonus and break the 50% cap.

Supportive actions with unstackable effects shouldn't even have tiered versions. And I don't really think it would require a lot of work. Just make the base spell/song/whatever get boosted to the upper tier at the skill level corresponding to the job level they used to be learnable at and keep the same potency formulas. I mean there are freaking 7 tiers of foe requiem... BRD is arguably the job that would benefit more from pruning.
There are over 100 songs, most of which are completely useless. Pruning lots of those songs would open space for more stuff for BRD and other jobs as well. Requiem like you said should be a single tier that scales with level/skill. They should merge Prelude and Madrigal, and they could also merge the -na songs together into one. Altough I guess SE likes it that they can use the "It's not our fault! Too many JAs alaready! We so wish we could add more stuff but alas we can't!" excuse lol |
