Hello All,
How do I get my emp weapons to register on this site? I'm hoping that it would improve my ranking but I can't get this site to know that I have a Ukon, Masa, Ochain, etc. Thanks!

Go to shouts (on the left) and scroll down to guildwork. Go to the installation tab for instructions.
I play on 360 so does that mean I have to dl guildworks via windower or just make a guildworks account? Confused.
I remember before you could still register from a 360 if you're char was registered in the FFXI community. I don't think GW pulls the info from there anymore as it's down (I think). I could be wrong. I just remember reading that. If that's true, I would assume a PC would be the only way to go? Sorry bro.

It is possible to update via LSC but the data there is extremely incomplete--it will not recognise newer (post-SOA) gear items so those values will be 'null' (blank) on LSC and appear blank on FFXIAH.com if you were to queue-update on the FFXIAH.com spider.
LSC does still recognise pre-SOA gears (relic/empyrean/items released before the expansion with 99 level cap) so it would, for example, recognise an Ochain 90 or a Gjallarhorn 99, but not a Bravura 119. Further, you'd likely have to log out with the item equipped (assuming it would be recognised) during the window where LSC does its own internal update (I think once a day, about 19:00 GMT no?) then afterwards, queue that refreshed-parse-data onto the FFXIAH.com side.

Not that this thread is about which platform is superior to play on, and not saying you should go out and buy a pc solely for this game, but switching from ps2/xbox360 was easily the best thing i've done for this game. Been like 5 years now and basically bought my pc to play this. Also, you could get your emps/relics on ffxiah and have a better rank :D

Find someone else that plays, or find a computer that will run FFXI, download Windower + GW Plugin, /gw flush, and boom. So how badly do you want your stats to show?

wasn't the original Windower style application a Japanese program anyways?

They do, and they use tools just as much as anyone else, but they sure do get buttmad when non-jp use them.

They have no idea you're using it unless you actually tell them. So they'd be banning blindly.

If SE -really- wanted to send a message to third-party program users then all they would need to do is select a few outspoken subscribers and make them examples. 5 people from each server is not enough to make a dent on their bottom line but it would be enough to cause widespread alarm and everyone to reconsider using third-party programs.

I would imagine its pretty difficult to get banned for 3rd party use now a days. SE is milking every last drop out of a slowly dying cow. Some might say they are butchering it for the meat (I wouldnt.) Also SE once took drastic measures against 3rd party use... Guess what? Its come to be more prevalent than ever before. Obviously I don't nor could ever have an estimate but I would guess 90% of PC players use 3rd party... and most players arnt crazy enough to play this game on anything else.

[85 days between previous and next post]I have been tying for days to get site to acknowledge my new Koga. i flushed many times and still nothing. It shows in my equipment list, but not in rank points or achievements. Any suggestions?
Every game update these days seems to break the points, and other things. It's unfortunate, but not really important.
It's nothing you can do, just have to wait for Scragg to see and update, as well as the news feed being stuck, and some merits not being counted.
