Should be worth adding that ATK-cap sets have more benefits than just the added dmg from ele belt/neck combo, since you can stack more STR for WSC gains which up the overall numbers.
Thanks for doing the math and going through it =) Sounds like an att capped set will be far more useful/important for amano and kaiten user's than masa though =/ (just a nice boost I suppose)

So I see in this thread a lot of sets have Unkai Earring in the TP sets. Are those sets trying to 4 hit or 5 hit? Cause my TP set looks similar minus the earring and coulda sworn I was getting a 5 hit. Also if anyone has an thoughts on improvements I would appreciate the feed back. SAM is far from a job I play often thus why no Masa, Koga, Amano. Might man up and just grind out a masa someday though.

Duplus/Tekko+1 for TP. Probably a stretch for a lot of players but would be better ofcourse. Misuushi over Atheling.
Shoha: Justicar's isn't needed, use Mala for capped ACC, Gorget for not. Hakama+1 would be an upgrade.
Fudo: Swap in Raja's and Saotome feet. Might need Hagnia stone as well, its been awhile since I did Masamune sets.

You could make a case for using a pyro or strigoi for fudo if you have hakama +1. Since the stp isn't needed, but it seems that the math favors using duplus instead of rose. I guess if you can afford hexed gear you can afford duplus.
Need Rose Strap if you're gonna be TPing in Usukane Somen +1. Can either do Rose/Somen or Duplus/Phorcys.

I'm still working on my sune-ate +1, but that set is pretty much masamune only right, or would you just change up back and maybe ammo for amano am? I keep putting sets in mots sheet and getting pretty much the same results all the way up to ig-alima, nothing pulling ahead by a significant (more than 1%) amount, and really only when accuracy is uncapped. Are all these sets really that close?
Finished Batallia Meebles a couple days ago and was wondering about a ring that I can buy. Would the Candent Ring be a good replacement for Pyrosoul? Or maybe Strigoi/Candent for Kaiten/Fudo and keep the Strigoi/Pyrosoul set for Shoha.
Would change the grip for Amano users, though I haven't really bothered looking at Amano sets since I don't have one.

There are situations firing off Fudos @100 TPish is better for self SC's on weak content/NNI and the like, so using ele neck/belt with Fudo in those situations is optimal. If you mainly use Fudo to put up AM3, it's still an increase, though using ire+1/ele belt may be better for those situations if ATK-capped.
As for ATK-capped sets in general, they give enough increases - at which point any career DD's should strive to make them.
Could have sworn there was a hybrid TP set listed in this thread earlier, but after going back 8 pages or so and not finding it I gave up and would rather ask; What's a good/standard hybrid set I could put together? Or just link me to the post with the set in it if you find it >.<

Has anyone tested if the % attack on drachenhorn works for ranged attack? Would probably make it the better option if facing attack deficiencies?
i know this is kinda the opposite of what the thread is intended for but i just got back the other week from a 1 year break and finished my first emp being a masu. i was wondering if anyone could point me in a dirrection to ah/easily obtainable gear. like af3 vw etc. thanks in advance. :D

If you don't have Usukane Sune-ate as I know some people just can't seem to get the damn bee to pop, this would be your next best set I think:

question, if i'm not capping gear haste... is Phorcys dirs better than Unkai Haidate +2?
