not that i'm impatient, the thing is a big bad company claims to have something out by x date and doesn't deliver. and also don't give posts like they claim they would. they leave there customers in the dirt.

They usually announce dates by region.. it might be the 29th the Japan, but when they say its August 28th in the North American region, it will be. Hopefully xD Just wait for it.
Well it does say Aug. 28 on the NA info. Now I have not seen how they posted the Japanese info on this but I wouldn't be surprised if the date was converted over for us. In which case the day isn't quite over yet. Hell, it's only 10:44AM where I am.

All NA's times is PST, it's only 9:36 am atm, give it a few.
If I were to make a guess, I'd say they would release it at 4 PM PST/7 PM EST so NA's still have a few hours to test, but the JP's day is just starting.

Just because they say the 28th (29th in Japan), it doesn't mean it'll be there at midnight... Almost never does.
they havent announced futher details, does that mean we eneter some drawing later to merge over to a test server and we have the option to become lab rats?
i wouldnt mind having one of my character's be a lab rat for new ffxi stuff <.<...

Chances are, you'll have all of the Emp weapons + relic weapons + mythic weapons + the new weapons like they do in the normal test server that they show during vanafest :x

Any idea what they have for gear? Being naked would make me sad.
I know the norm used to be full Relic. I'd assume now It'd be full Empyrean. Not sure on anything you can't normally see in a screenshot.
full empyrean gear would probably be the normal, I'm sure they have the af/relic sets on the characters as well...

i thought it was a bit strange when they gave that date. Its a sunday, they NEVER release content/info on sunday. Though it may be a Monday in Japan, it still seems to go that way. But the day is still young...ish, we'll see what happens (though I gotta wonder if they didn't mean tomorrow)
