I still love it but it did not age well lol does anyone know about monitors?
eyeing this https://www.amazon.com/MX239H-1920x1080-AH-IPS-Back-lit-Monitor/dp/B00B1IAL7W this is my current one, wich I picked up about...5-6yrs ago ? https://www.google.com/shopping/product/10798076990729768541 I wouldn't get a monitor that doesn't have dvi or DP, personally. Also the Asus is smaller, both were 1080P? I didn't look at the refresh rates on both, but if you're looking at a single monitor I'd probably go with at least a 27"
I have 5 of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005BZNDS0/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They aren't all hooked up to this PC (yet). Complaints: the input is auto-switching, so if you hook up like 2 pcs to the same monitor, if one reboots it will auto switch to the other input (annoying), no DP or speakers but it does have a 3.5mm out if you have audio coming in from the HDMI (can just use speakers then from that). It all depends on what you're going to be doing on it, if it's for "work" I'd say the more monitors the better, older games: probably just 1 screen, current games, not sure but I don't know of many (actually personally I know of none) that can support multiple displays. I know refresh rate should be paid attention to, luminance, and also ratings for burn in, because that can be an issue. I mean if you're keeping it under 30" and just doing 1080P I wouldn't spend more than $300, if it's under 27" more than $150, but I'm cheap, even though Asus is great. oh shoot, didnt notice it didnt have a dvi port lol

Note: lately I and others have been having weird issues with DP and winders, so I'd probably stick with DVI, hopefully DVI-D, dual link is even better (supports higher resolutions). I'd stay away from DVI-A, or DVI-I. dont need a monitor right now since my current one still works fine, but the 5 yr monitor i keep saying "maybe there is something better (same price range) as compared to this, that will make things noticeably better looking and smoother
not a lot out there, while some things may be better, other areas are worst. If nothing else if your current monitor is florescent back-lit (too lazy to look it up, sorry) changing to a led back-lit would save you $ on your electric bill.
I'd say get dual 27" keep it under $500, go with Asus, get all the inputs in the world, and have yourself a ball. I assumed nothing, just was an opportunity to get a cheap shot in.
