Letting more competent BST reply to the rest, but the highest MND food should be Goblin Mushpot. Lasts 3 hours, MND+10 and whatnot. Can buy it from Goblin NPC in Lower Jeuno.

/whm

If /nin use another Zoraal's and yes, mushpot is the best and you might want to look at different atmas because they effect pets as well.

The regen one is super cool.

Monster/Beast bodies are also situational though. They don't make Reward stronger but add several -na effects to it if I recall? So against certain targets it might be worth to use one of those in place of Osode,, more details on Wiki for the exact debuffs they remove.

Well, yes.. But it's a chore remembering what either one does at any given situation, hit the osode up to give the pet that extra hp while your call beast timer goes down.

You'd get more benefit from the osode, I feel. Unless it's a super para or poi proc where you'd want to use the Beast coat.

Monster is slow, silence and weight iirc.
Beast is para, blind and poison. (kajillion times better than monster imo)

Don't think an extra ~couple HP recovered will combat a full 10 seconds of Reward reduction.

That being said.

http://www.ffxiah.com/item/16012/mamool-ja-earring
http://www.ffxiah.com/item/15992/celestial-earring

for earrings.

Edit: 10 Seconds.

Edit2: Khimaira Bonnet is -15 Seconds, Bison is -10. According to wiki.

10 mil mnd earings aren't worth it :x
I've changed and edited the rest, though!
I never knew about that mnd belt, thanks.
And forgot mamools, thanks!

And I agree on the OST. -15secs is pure win, in solo/duo/trio.

Beast Healer is worthwhile now that Reward is effective once more. It winds up being the single largest bonus to the actual amount of HP restored by the ability. I recently rebuilt my Beastmaster with Reward in mind, taking down the Reward Recast and Filling Beast Healer, I have to say, it pushed the ability over the threshold of pet-sustaining.

Now we just have to hope SE lets BST quiver the food, even if it's still 12 per unit. My inventory hates my beastmaster even more than Scholar.

Also, in regards to Palla's Shield, Muse Tariqua is about as good, and also works for a Stoneskin build. Pallas's Shield is only a 3.5% increase to Reward, and far too rare to justify hunting/camping AH for it.

The Mamool earring seems like it would just be a time investment >.O!

But yah, Figured we we're aiming for "best possible" not "Withing budget" build >.<;;

Probably better off with +2MND' earrings then for sure.

or maybe the level 76~+ Earrings, i think they give +3 Stats? depending on their prices though..

That would be the best possible Reward set attainable. Stout Bonnet gives -15 seconds to Reward, along with merits this pushes Reward down to an even 1:00 minute recast time, something definitely worth looking into I'd say, if you ever find yourself soloing/low manning stuff and need to spam Reward.

There are +3 stat earings? :o

And if it's something silly like 10mil per earing (on my server), I just pretend they don't exist cause nobody is going to get that for +1mnd. It's insane to do so. xD

your going to feed your pet a tathlum O,.O?

Seems like he might choke on sharp quartz.

Also promise badge is just as much mind but is also augmentable.

I was under the impression that Augments Reward adds the -na's, CHR+ lowers charm resist and Charm + increases duration. Im not saying you're wrong, I'd just like this to be confirmed by someone for me so I know in the future ^^

you're right, charm + increases duration of charm, CHR+ increases charm success, most BST stack on as much CHR as possible.

I am currently over 200 attempts on nonrare/ nonex components of my reward set. Have yet to get anything useful. Theres also a possibility of a +4 mind augment on the MKD augment cape. But as far as augments go, i cant recommend either way. I mean its completely random. Kinda like playing the lotto. Its not likely you will get wat u want but u definately wont get it if u dont try.

I find it takes way too much of an inventory commitment to make a total Reward set. Monster Feet-Ogre Hands-Khimaira Bonnet is all I maintain, of course, there's some multi-use MND equip in there for good measure, but you won't see me lugging around Magic Cuisses or a Neptune's Ring for less than 1% bonus.

The MND gear is nice to have mainly if you already use it on other jobs. 2x Zoraal axes, ogre gloves, monster gaiters are the real boost = +50%.

Lately I've been playing around with BST and I was wondering when Reward was "worth" starting to be used? Should I carry some Alpha biscuits with me whenever I'm on BST, even though I'm only Lv.16?

I'm also curious to know what sort of level I should start looking at very basic reward builds (say MND+ in as many slots as I can carry) or is it not worth the hassle until I get the +10~20% items?

(Figured these couple of questions would tie in quite nicely here save making a new thread about it)

Thanks for any help <3
