Hmmmm wonder how fast it attacks not counting the high double attack rate if can slow it and stun lock it with headbutt... if it really has no tp moves hell might be able to just lock horns with it

BLU/NIN with movement speed should be able to deal with this pretty easily since Cannonball takes virtually no time to cast, right? Edit: I would love to see an NM meet 18x BLU that just open with 300 TP CA Cannonballs >_>;
Its the aggro on the way to the kite path that will kill you. EVERYTHING aggros sneak there.
Kite... er I mean zone it all! Or just death pull
Don't forget that water will deaggro your NM lol
I'm counting on it... I mean it should deagrros most the other stuff to right? Also could pull to zone on the ledges. Idk haven't explored areas down there that actually have much aggro lol

Skeletons naturally take extra blunt damage so cannonball is quite effective on them. My damage record for a regular mob remains to this day at over 3k on a skele in gusgen mines. This was so long ago I might not have even been 75, so the gear I had then is nothing on the gear I have now.

But anyway, I'll scope out the zone, but from the looks of the map the only way to get it to the west map is through the water twice?

My plan, if needed, is to simply clear out a patch of mobs around where I'll initially cast cannonball from, then pop a silent oil as soon as I cast on it. Should give me just enough time to stay out of range before running off (especially if that room is the one I think it is and allows me to cast over a gap). Then if I lose hate I'll cannonball it and run like ***! RR may be required :D

Not bats, or crabs.

You would have like 50 mobs on you too, and by the time you deaggro all of that, your NM would be right back at the spot you fought him, with 100% HP.

3 hours worth of complicated!!!

But I did it, smiling, because I'm so damn ANAL to find out what it drops. If it really drops that neck piece at all (since I find it very hard to believe that people killed it before me since it hits like a freight train, even when you damage it)

Go go tomorrow to kill it....again :D

Before you try to kill it, I would suggest killing Canal Moocher first.

As practice.

Same thing as with Brazen, except it has enplague, and no ice spikes.

Double attacks often.

squishy

level 73-74

and you can do the same thing to it as with Brazen, then whole kiting thing.

You know, I expected a lot of flames on this.

Hell, Blazza posted here and not one troll remark. Now THATs something.

This has finally turned into something that I always wished it to be, a discussion about XXX.

Actually I got thf to 75 before I got blu to 75. And now my rng is like 56.

But even if I had no 75 jobs it doesn't take a genuis to see that you can get alot more acc to tp in or that ws gorgets or even the jailer ones beat these for ws by alot. You can also get more attack on a neck pretty easy though really 6 attack probably will rarely beat 3/4 str tping

I was thinking multi-hit WSs would benifit more from this than anything.

While Gorgets are nice, I don't know of any MNKs who uses gorgets for Asurian Fists, although I think you can.

If anything, its an e-peen necklace.

Not to butt into the conversation but I don't think so.
Chiv chain > this piece for WSing.

The STR mod and the Acc on that piece are pretty much undeniable.

And the next best thing you can get to this peice is the RK guard collar, giving something like +4 each stat.

And there is that templar one which gives equal stats outside of nation control.

It simply must have a hidden effect. Like, under the effect of a favour or something probably.

Silly mnks. I'd have to parse it but I wouldn't put money on this even beating chiv on a multi hit ws. As far as mnks not using gorgets... well depends on how many hits connect but assuming they all do this represents a 1.25% increase in dmg... but mostly its the 10 acc since really ever little below the cap you are completely screws you with that many hits.

Wouldn't that be a kicker... double stats under diablos favor lol. But really it's not like SE doesn't do stuff like this...
