If it wasn't for white men oppressing the world all the women would rule us by creating top ten lists on Huff Post !
Well the WH said there was no Plan B. You would think they would have to come back to it soon tho. I mean, repealing Obamacare has only been priority #1 for the last 7 years.

The Republicans here seem happy that it didn't pass. But hey, there's still Paul Ryan's tears as a consolation prize. Viciouss said: » Well the WH said there was no Plan B. Pre-vote rhetoric is likely to be different from what we'll hear in the aftermath. This isn't over yet. Viciouss said: » Well the WH said there was no Plan B. Does that stop Try #2 from happening, or is that only when liberals attempt at anything? Candlejack said: » GOP failed again, not surprising. Ah, the sweet taste of Republicans' tears as they cry themselves to sleep over this disaster tonight. A Republican in the White House. Republicans controlling the Senate. Republicans controlling the House. Republicans controlling most states. Highly likely that Republicans will be in power for 4+ years. Gorsuch's seat is all but assured, even if the Republicans have to pull the Reid Rule into play. No Clinton in the White House. Pelosi's not Speaker. Schumer's not Majority Leader. Kain's not Vice President. Still plenty of time to repeal and replace Obamacare. Yeah, lots to cry about. Bahamut.Ravael said: » Candlejack said: » GOP failed again, not surprising. Maybe it comes back in the Fall, depending on whether or not they pass an actual budget or just a CR. They wasted a lot of time on this and it didn't even get to the Senate. You are talking about at least a full month on the legislative calender to get this done. Whenever they do come back to it, I wouldn't expect anything different to happen in the House. Offline

And if one isn't, tell me what party chairs the ethics committee? Asura.Kingnobody said: » Viciouss said: » I honestly believe the Dems will come to us. You might as well say goodbye to the ol' filibuster, and thank Reid for killing it. If the GOP tries to accommodate the freedom caucus they go down in flames. We saw that today. The house has to craft something that will draw at least 60 dems. And those 60 kinda have to be blue dog dems. The fiscally responsible wing of the party. The blue dogs have often cooperated with the GOP establishment. Bill was a blue dog. Tell me, when did we last have a surplus? And, things being the way they are, if anything gets out of the house with 60+ dems on board it won't get filibustered in the senate. The filibuster isn't going anywhere o.O

Yeah I don't see a lot of legislative victories for this admin because none of his ideas appeal to the Tea Party and they really don't care about anything other than themselves.

Trump keeps removing establishment obstacles one at a time. #stillnottiredofwinning Viciouss said: » They wasted 2+ weeks of the legislative calender on a bad healthcare bill that they were told was dead on Day 1. With a two week break coming in April there is no telling when or if healthcare will get done. Trump is obviously ready to move on to his budget wishlist but uh...I wouldn't expect it to be any different. Just think how much more business would be done if the democrats hadn't passed that disaster in the first place. To bad they really screwed everything up huh?
