Sorry guys but we are taking another Euro :) England vs. Portugal in a warm up match coming up real soon. C'mon England! :)
Chosen one in attendance. Someone appears to be missing from the Portugal line up
Bahamut.Scizor said: » Chosen one in attendance. Someone appears to be missing from the Portugal line up I hate his face .. but we could have done with him so our defenders can get used to someone like Bale. Valefor.Sehachan said: » Lol yeah I understand but honestly Emre Belozoglu's style is nothing like Maradona. His strength was being effective both offensively and defensively, filling the gaps left by others and having very high stamina. He is a skillful player, but nothing game changing. Emre Mor, on the other hand, is really like Messi in terms of play style and he shows great potential. We may never be sure about how prolific he will become in the future, but he is only 18 years old. He has the time to get much better. I hope he gets transfered to a team where he can develop his skills under a talent polisher coach such as Simeone. *checks where he plays* I mean danish championship...not exactly the most challenging <_<
Holy *** that tackle was unreal

Valefor.Sehachan said: » Bahamut.Vinedrius said: » just like Messi So for me a youngling, who has yet to play against the best for a while, cannot fulfill the necessary conditions to live up to such a comparision. Yesterday was the last test game of Germany, 2:0 against hungary.
Both goals with off-side positions and one of them was an own goal. It's far from being a team yet, but with the easy group stage this championship there shouldn't be problems in advancing. Hopefully this gives us the time to step up our game for the KO-phase. Negative points: still the same as in the OP. Very weak wing defenders and no production in front of the goal. positive points: first time in over a year we did not allow a goal against us. The first goal in the game was a wrong offside call, so we did score one time legally. It just did not count. Other recent results of important teams and those people showed interest for so far: Spain 6:1 South Corea Belgium 1:1 Finland England 1:0 Portugal Croatia 10:0 San Marino France 3:0 Shottland Question about the Tippspiel (guessing game), shall we have rules on deadlines other than post before the game starts and don't edit results (post changes in a new post)? I cannot guarantee to be always here one second before the game starts to notice cheating edits. Personally I think it is not needed, it is just for fun and there are many reasons for last minute posts other than cheating attempts. If people wait to see the first live picture of the stadium to adjust their Tipp (guess) based on how the grass is cut or watered...while I don't think it is needed I don't mind it. Tippspiel (guessing game) post. For rules check the OP.
First match of every team: Friday, June 10 France 5:0 Romania Saturday, June 11 Albania 1:1 Switzerland Wales 1:2 Slovakia England 2:0 Russia Sunday, June 12 Turkey 0:1 Croatia Poland 5:0 Northern Ireland Germany 2:0 Ukraine Monday, June 13 Spain 3:1 Czech Rep Rep of Ireland 0:3 Sweden Belgium 0:1 Italy Tuesday, June 14 Austria 1:0 Hungary Portugal 4:0 Iceland You are underestimating Iceland :D I won't be surprised at all if they destroy Portugal.
Edit: As for Turkey, Czech Republic scares me more than Croatia and Croatia does so more than Spain. We always play better against "stronger" teams. They can't concentrate against weaker or equal teams, but it is a totally different story when it comes to stronger teams. I can count many other downsides our team suffer from but somehow we always manage to pull out crazy come-back stunts. Unfortunately, we don't have Semih Senturk anymore (see: euro 2008 finals). A very recent example is our last Netherlands and Iceland matches in the qualification phase. Feel free to participate with your own Tipps (guesss).
We'll see how it turns out on game day. Iceland passed? How the hell did that happen?
*checks group* Did someone tell Netherlands they had qualification games? I can't explain this! Netherlands had enough chances not to fail.
They are simply too bad at the moment (arguably since the lost World Cup final against spain). While there was the semi-final 2014.. they didn't really impress me after their first match. Apparently this is the song of the competition..
YouTube Video Placeholder I think it's terrible. Bismarck.Leneth said: » Feel free to participate with your own Tipps (guesss). We'll see how it turns out on game day. Ok, you asked for it! I think I'll just go with this one YouTube Video Placeholder since the german song sucks this time as well. The bad German song for 2016: YouTube Video Placeholder 2014 and 2006 the german football songs were way better... 2014: YouTube Video Placeholder 2006: YouTube Video Placeholder YouTube Video Placeholder Your spoiler doesn't work. That song is from 2012? Time flies.. Successfully exported french songs have become a rarity in the last few years since they don't follow their old recipe anymore. Won 2-0. But it was just Finland...they barely know what a ball is shaped like!
Belgium played 1:1 against Finland (1.June).
Stop downtalking Italy! These tricks won't work. Buffon is going to be playing with a zimmer-frame soon, I'm sure that guy stopped ageing at 20.
Alright time to chip in for the first match! (I did pretty well during world cup with predictions!)
I actually think Romania won't do too bad this cup, but I doubt they're passing through France on the first. So I say 2-0 France. Griezmann, Giroud *tries to impossibly guess goals too* |
