Don't want to start more job comparison drama in this thread, but I still wanted to say save your gil to gear blu on main.-.

So get an legendary if you haven't, get 2 legendary if you only have 1, get hq pieces if you have all legendary.

Unless you really love sam you'd probably end up playing your best geared melee job. And blu is more likely to win parse in most situations. In that case it's better to focus on 1 melee and push it to the max.
