Nobody ***up this thread!
Seriously, I enjoy debating with people here. And I'm sure everyone else does too (otherwise they wouldn't post here or argue). Let's keep this civil. I will turn this thread into a tax class if I have to! Now turn to page 167, we are going to discuss capital gains and wash sales today! I go away for the weekend and someone ***up thread 2?
Or was this a regularly scheduled Ramyrez said: » I go away for the weekend and someone ***up thread 2? Or was this a regularly scheduled You really don't want to know what happened. ...hell, I don't know what happened. I just came in at the end of it when Rooks went nuclear. Offline

Wonder how many iterations of this thread we'll go through before the actual election.

We all told you that would happen if you let that guy be president! Trump would charge the other nation to drop the bomb on them. Clinton would send her hubby there, that's punishment enough. Sanders would just tax them. Kaish wouldn't do anything, he would still be shocked he became president. For 4 years! You know, you say that, but part of me also thinks that the stars aren't so far from aligning in such a fashion that he actually pulls this ***off. It really would only take two things. 1) Brokered convention. 2) Hilldawg meltdown. I really don't know that either/both of those are out of the question. Remember, Ryan never wanted to be the Speaker of the House in the first place. Yet, there he is. Also, it wouldn't even take a Clinton meltdown. Just indictment. I mean, even though she would still be considered to be the first woman president, I highly doubt the liberals/democrats would want to knowingly elect a felon to the top seat of the nation.
I thought it was interesting this weekend when I saw the Kochs basically saying that, rhetoric aside, Clinton would "possibly" be better than the current GOP options.
I'm not sure whether to take that as mind games by the Kochs or among the actual biggest threats the GOP has received. I almost feel like I should repost the special moves of the local posters like last time.
Kinda as a warning for new posters! Valefor.Sehachan said: » I almost feel like I should repost the special moves of the local posters like last time. Kinda as a warning for new posters! I always feel like Ted Cruz's makeup people give him too much eye liner.

Is the increased income disparity from corporate greed in the wake of the Great Recession starting to come home to roost? Find out more at 11! I mean, come on, even that was a poor attempt. Get better bait next time. I know it's CNN but the first paragraph read like it was the Onion.
http://edition.cnn.com/2016/04/25/asia/bangladesh-u-s-embassy-worker-killed/index.html
Quote: A U.S. Embassy worker was among two men hacked to death Monday evening in Dhaka, Bangladesh's capital, the embassy said in a Facebook statement. The statement identified the embassy worker as Xulhaz Mannan, calling him a "dear friend." "We abhor this senseless act of violence and urge the Government of Bangladesh in the strongest terms to apprehend the criminals behind these murders," Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat, the U.S. ambassador to Bangladesh, said in the statement. Mannan and someone described only as a friend were in a flat in Dhaka when five or six young men posing as couriers arrived at Mannan's building under the guise of delivering a package to him, said Mohammad Iqbal, officer in charge of Kalabagan police station. They entered the second-floor apartment and hacked Mannan and his friend to death with machetes, Iqbal said. Additional details of the two deaths were not immediately available, but several media outlets reported that Mannan was the editor of Roopbaan, a Dhaka-based LGBT magazine that describes itself as "a platform and publication promoting human right and freedom to love in Bangladesh." Saw that on FB over the weekend.
I still think it's an affront to Grandpa Munster. |
