Back then you had to go to 100 for gear in pool/up to 2 possible iirc. And a Stratum wich you could exchange to one piece OR - you beat 5 times 80 boss and get 5 stratums and change them to a 100 piece.

The way up to 100 was so hilarious that ppl felt forced to just bot it and sell ***for 30M.

If I remember correctly. There is a slight possibility of obtaining a piece of 80/100 armor from the +2 ??? boxes(Drops only from the 20/40/60/80/100 boss floors). But we're talking about some crazy luck. As it could be a Zeni NM Trigger, Alex Purse, Table, etc.

And you can't upgrade the pieces, as far as I'm aware.

Edit: This only applies during the Nyzul Isle Campaign event though.

Yeah +2 box is your way if you cant hit 80/100. Or an augmented supligar from Aby with refresh - or if its for lighter jobs - Rawhide Pants offer refresh augments also via Eschalexiers.

They should just call this the "best dressed mule" campaign, as the sheer amount of old QQ gear that drops is ludicrous. Not to mention all the Legion, VW, Delve, Unm, Skirmish, Vagary, iLvl BC stuff that falls from the +1 boxes.

Spamming this really reminds you how much content is now completely obsolete, its actually a bit depressing.

Anyone get a Tyger pop yet? I got 3 tinnin and 2 sara but no tyger

I only got one after a full day of spamming floor 20.

i get more tyger pops in nashmau.

I usually get Tyger pop less often too, although I do get plenty of T3 pops to convert.

I've got all the T4 ZNM pops - 3 Sarameya, 1 Tinnin, and 1 Tyger.

Two Sarameya, two Tyger, no Tinnen yet for me.

Are you guys finding the fastest way to get T3 pops is just quick runs to floor 20 for the +2 box? I need a couple Sarameya pops for mythic trials.

Yes, although luck may vary. It's more reliable to farm them outside Nyzul.

I'm using a very similar strategy to what I do in SSR2. I use blu/thf and a magic damage setup and subduction everything except Puks. I'll switch to melee for a handful of mobs such as the yellow flan leader and bosses, but for the most part it's subduction spam all the way.

I set floor 60 as my destination and if I make it to 18, 19, 38, or 39, I will go up one floor at a time to get to the bosses.

If i'm lucky with lamps, I can make it to floor 60 with about 5 minutes to spare.

The +2 boxes have been very good to me since I am working on a mythic. Helps to knock out some Alex as well as the Nyzul tokens. Plus the fact I have made a complete T4 pop set for ZNM, it has shaved some time off of my farming.

Plus it is a great break from the monotony of SSR2.

sixty-some ??? items of rubbish yesterday, largely.

I got one Tinnin pop and a bunch of ~100-109 Adoulin gear to throw at the AMAN NPC and that's it. The rest was either NPC'able or chuckable garbage.

The worst was getting the gear that was really great at 99 before ilevel, but now it's utterly worthless (got all three NNI bodies for my mule instead of anything currently-useable from +2s.)

How good would whm/rdm be able to fair in nni for this event in 119 gear can you al trust in nyzul?

No you cannot use trusts. I don't know if you'd be able to put out the damage.

You can't call trust in Nyzul. Other than kill all floors, you shouldn't lose much time due to being a whm or rdm. I would go RDM and nuke everything down and melee here and there. You can also sub blm and train as many mobs as you can on kill all floors and spam aeroga II (waterga II for puks).
