One of those items the devs forgot to give a purpose to.

My best run so far I hit 20, 40, 60, 80 (did have a free floor in there). Alt at the lamp really helps. It's been about a 50/50 split between getting 2 or 3 +2 boxes. Usually about 15 things to appraise per run. BLM is my best nyzul job and when I go above floor 80 things start to get nasty in terms of resists from NMs.

Some of the cool things I got from +1 boxes have been eyepatch, anhur robe, and twilight cloak. I have also gotten a ton of zeni pops... do wish the +2 boxes would stop giving smouldering lamps though lol.

Those ZNM pops are all over the place from this. In previous ones, I got enough ZNM pops/drops that when I went for Kenkonken, I only needed to start four ZNM pops from scratch T1 to get to 119. That includes two scoria and a couple of PW pops of which I used one for the third scoria.

I think I won the event and can stop now.

Never again!!! I'll probably still do it for the zeni pops xD

Got a Heka body which was nice. A bunch of znm and NNI gear like everyone else. Also pld relic gear seems to gravitate toward me. Got every piece like 3 times it feels like.

That's weird because the only relic gear I've got from this is PLD as well.. Hah.
Other than that I have got at least 15 lamps, a few less linen pouches, various NNI gear I already had, and Usukane Gote +1 that I already had from +2. +1 has been nearly all trash. All I want is the table, and a duplus would be nice.

Unfortunately, you can get a Smouldering Lamp from a +2 box, easily the worst possible drop... which I've gotten... multiple times...

After I saw someone in this thread get a Tessera Saio, I've been spamming this the past few days hoping to get one myself. No luck yet, though. Anyone else come across one?

It looks like the ??? items are always of the same type as what the NMs normally drop according to the chart here, so you may be able to raise your chances somewhat by targeting certain floors (like 1-19 being the only floors with NMs that drop grips).

I may be taking crazy pills, but I'm starting to think the +2 boxes may have different item distributions when appraised depending on what floor they came from. Yes, I know, they're the same item (probably the same in the DATs), RNG is RNG, superstition, seeing non-existent patterns, etc. But I've been doing this event a lot trying to get a Table, and I swear the boxes I've gotten from F20 and F40 are consistently "lower quality" than the times I've had friends to go up to F100 with.

F20 and F40 boxes are the only ones I've seen appraise as Cotton Purses. It's the F60+ boxes that have appraised as Linen. I've never seen a Smouldering Lamp from a F20/F40, but have gotten too many to count from F80/F100s. The T4 ZNM pops I've gotten have all been from F100 +2 boxes. I've never gotten a T2 ZNM pop from a F80/F100 box. Etc etc.

I'm not saying you can't get a Table from a F20 box (obviously, since other people report they have). Just that it feels like the floor the box comes from might have an effect on the other drops.

Does anyone else feel like they're on crazy pills too? Or is it just me?

Ya just you I get Linen and Smouldering Lamps,T4 constantly from F20/40. I have more of a problem after cashing in a few runs at a time and getting multiple of the same T4 and losing one.
