I'd quote but I can't be bothered to read Japanese. Sounds like they are gonna be treating these apps like SE did windower.

A prestige loss fix is difficult, though. I tried coming up with some ideas that wouldn't: 1.) Favour botters/hackers 2.) Favour placing lower CP pokemon into gyms in order to boost prestige fast On top of that, I feel gym attacking should be limited to 4 attacking pokemon and building prestige raised to 3 pokemon. I think that would help preserve the amount of effort people actually put into building it up without having some Joe Schmow come and knock it down from lv 10 in 10 minutes. Plus, it would force people to use different pokemon attackers besides dragonites, lapras', and vaporeons, as with 4 pokemon vs. 6, you'd have to put more though about what pokemon are actually defending a gym, making trying to use type advantage more effectively. But thats just my 2 cents. So, I was so very happy because after hundreds of Magicarps I finally found one with 93% IVs:
(oh, yes, I need to do something about all that Stardust... don't I? I am just saving it for something "really good" (?)). As you can see, I had so many Magicarps with different IVs saved to evolve... So, I evolved the 93.3 one and this happened: FSCK TWISTER! :( Now back to look for another perfect-ish carp again :( Oh, and here is a screenshot of my Dragonites, just because! :P Offline

2 gyarados' wild, 2 evolved. It's not that hard if you know where the nest are. (Magikcarp/Dratini) Creecreelo said: » Cerberus.Tidis said: » How in *** do you have so many Gyarados and Dragonite? Super legit I have never done any location spoof if that is what you are suggesting. My only "cheat" is to use the map to locate the Pokémon and that's it. I set up Pokemon Go Map + PokeAlarm to notify me via Telegram whenever a rare Pokémon pops nearby where I am. All the 600 km. I have walked since the start of the game have been... well, walking, I don't even have a car so, yeah. I live in an area where you can farm carps all day and night long if you want, near the port there are always 4-5 up and near the park there is another spot for just getting carps all day long. As for the Dratinis / Dragonites, same stuff. I have only evolved one Dragonite (the one at almost 3k CP, 91.1% IVs) and the rest I have catched via the radar, as I posted few days ago, for example, I catched 3 Dragonites in 3 nights a couple of weeks ago. Oh, and btw, I have had 3 more Dragonites that have escaped so... yeah, the army would be even bigger. As far as I'm aware, my town doesn't have nests.
So, apparently, there are rumors of an event that is to take place by January.
Something about a quest for three feathers to get a Master Ball to catch legendary birds. Anna Ruthven said: » So, apparently, there are rumors of an event that is to take place by January. Something about a quest for three feathers to get a Master Ball to catch legendary birds. This thing: Hmm
I think nobody posted the news about "Pokémon buddy" that is coming "just around the corner".
Quote: Go out and explore with your Buddy Pokémon! Hi everyone, It’s been a busy summer and, in addition to battling bots and fixing bugs, we’ve also been busy working on some new features for our Pokémon GO Trainers. As you know, we recently released the new Pokémon Appraisal feature, which helps Trainers identify which Pokémon has the most potential for battle. Today we wanted to let you know about a new feature for the game that is just around the corner. The next addition to Pokémon GO will be Buddy Pokémon. You will be able to pick your favorite Pokémon from your collection to become your buddy, opening up unique in-game rewards and experiences. Buddy Pokémon will appear alongside your Trainer avatar on your profile screen, adding helpful bonuses such as awarding Candy for walking together. You’ll also have the ability to change your Buddy Pokémon at any time. We’ve got a lot more in the works this fall. Stay tuned here for all the details. Thanks, The Pokémon GO Development Team Pretty much my experience except replace the Vaporeon with Dragonite.

Yeah, see Dragonites/Lapras constantly at Gyms. Meanwhile, my 10km eggs give Jynx, Scyther, Eevee and Omanyte. Fantasic.

I have 2 "battle with the best of them" dragonite, 5 gyradoos and hatched 3 eevees which I'm really happy cause I can't find eevees anywhere. I just got a Aerodactyl(1197cp) last night from a 10km egg. Was a good night!
Anyone know if the update is coming today?
Ah, yes, for the ones who were wondering how I can have so many (?) Gyarados:
Carbuncle.Elvaanmoq said: » Ah, yes, for the ones who were wondering how I can have so many (?) Gyarados: If u work or live near water you gonna have a lot of gyradoos. I work near one and get like 3 dratinis and 20-30 magickarps a day. I even sent back crappy gyarados with bad move sets lol This is the exact reason we get turned off from playing this. Our town has like 3 timed spawns, that's it. No nests, no 'water' spawns at our boat landings and docks, nothing. 10,000 people here and we get screwed :(
Problem is that the game's pokemon are dependant on the number of people playing...so it's like...really screwing people over who live in rural areas. I hope Niantic does osmething to remedy this, otherwise they're gonna be losing some customers
Transferring to the professor...
I always wanted to ask this; Let's say you have a magikarp and enough candy to evolve it. Do you guys usually max out cp on Magikarp first then evolve him or just go right ahead and evolve him even if it was at low CP then max its CP on Gyarados?

There's zero reason to spend candy to power them up as Magikarp. Evolve then power Gyarados. It doesn't affect anything either way you do it.
