Pokémon GO! - (Savage)
Awesome find, thank you. :)

I also now have a Golem and a Rhydon in the 1800s now where before the Golem was 1450ish and the Rhydon was 1200ish. Huge buffs for them. My 2 Arcanines though, lost about 150-200 CP each. And I had a 1400 Rapidash that got nerfed to 1100 because Rapidash is widely used in gyms. (sarcasm) Rapidash being nerfed is just stupid... It was already ***tier :\ I mean, if Rhydon got a massive buff why doesn't Rapidash? I mean, Rhydon is a single evolution just like Rapidash.
Perhaps they based it on the amount of candy required to evolve? Who knows... Trainer Tips somewhat explains why/which pokemon got the boost over others.
Skip to about 2:35 for the explanation, plus the updated lists from Silph Road on top pokemon of each stat and ***. YouTube Video Placeholder
So, with regards to CP, it's just a calculation based on the stats of the pokemon right? In that case, with the buffs and nerfs, does that mean basically all the pokemon have had their stats altered in same way, shape or form?
Ditto is released. It takes the form of a ratatta, pidgey, or zubat according to data.
Also Thanksgiving event starts tomorrow. Double xp/stardust This whole thing in the last two days: I'm ready to evolve the crap out of some pokemon tomorrow, double xp is already active but not doing it tonight, need sleepz.
This was just brought to my attention...
<===============> Are you suggesting Pokemon Go could be a prequel to the original Pokemon games?

YouTube Video Placeholder (Its got holes be he addresses that) Can just skip to 9:35 if you wanna hear bout the Willow stuff. Wohve and I encountered 2 Ditto tonight (one ran from me)
One was from a Rattata and the other from a Pidgey. Ditto has been released as well. Will edit screenshot in. Edit: Ditto I hope Ditto only spawns off scrub pokemon, I'd hate to get one of the 14 Pokemon I'm missing, only for it to be a Ditto.
Gen 2 confirmed: Dec 8th.
On a related note: Starbucks will be offering Pokemon themed frappachinos starting the 8th to celebrate the release. Edit: Seems like it was pushed back to the 12th. Generation 2 on Dec. 8th? Source? Leaked from a Starbucks company e-mail. On another note, I have a random question. With the catch bonuses you earn based on type, (i.e. +3 flying catch bonus), how does this apply to dual-typed pokemon? Does it apply to both types? only the first type? For example, for catching pidgey, would you get a catch bonus for both normal and flying type or just normal? http://nintendowire.com/blog/2016/12/05/leaks-point-gen-ii-pokemon-starbucks-partnership-pokemon-go/ my friend works at starbucks and says he hasn't heard anything about it. though i guess its not all locations

Silph road has the data testing on their reddit. I know a few Starbucks locations here in Houston. I can try scoping them out on the 8th for anything interesting. honestly, Im more curious what the pokemon frap is gonna be like.

Probably an effort to revitalize the game in time for the Holidays. Just a guess though. I wonder if that means pokemon with new evolutions (Chansey, Scyther, Onyx..) that are consitered "rarer" will high a bit higher of a spawn rate now.
Also, I wonder what affect this will have on egg hatching. They'll probably just evolve using the same system. Onix to Steelix using X number of Onix candies. Same thing for Chansey.
The only question is Poliwag, Poliwhirl to Politoed How would you be able to control the evolution so that you get a Politoed instead of a Poliwrath? Also, Espeon & Umbreon. Its not the system I'm concerned about, its the extreme rarity of some of there, such as the ones I mentioned, to be able to even evolve them. I was lucky to have a Scyther nest around here, but I've never locally found a Chansey or Onyx..
