It has happened before but it was long ago and under different circumstance's I'm sure. The difference is, back then SE would have already done a world wide maintenance to investigate the issue, this time however... they are all out of *** to give for XI. I was booted nearly 5hrs ago and still can't get through PoL login. Very annoying to say the least.

I know ffxiv is having DDoS attacks, I am assuming the same thing is happening on ffxi.

Again kicked- during VW this time, i'm starting to think this only targets certain types of connections because only about 4-6 of us were kicked off(maybe a bit more, those were just the people who dc'd before me)

I realize you might be functionality inept but goggling ffxiv ddos attack has the first result giving refrence to these attacks. Now it might have been a stretch to piece this together since one says FFXIV and this is for FFXI but you might be shocked to know these games ard made by the same company. A company that more than likely uses data centers for both games that could possibly share the same facility.
