Nope, still not getting in. 3100 says gtfo. Ah man, now what?
Same issue with me. I thought a reboot might fix it, but it's still coming up as error code FFXI-3100 and not connecting to the Lobby. I hope they resolve the issue soon.

This shouldn't happen on a weekend. FFXI has been very stable for years though, so I think we're all a bit confused. And bored, mostly bored.

I think it's only for those who are just logging in for the day, and for those who ARE on, they are either starting to have issues or not being affected. :<

Don't log out XD ;;;
It's the lobby server so it affects every subscriber who is not logged into the game when attempting to access the main menu.

Aye, I went so far as to system restore to yesterday, checking ports, registry, etc. Then tried pol once again and see the "We are currently experiencing..."
I'm still on the game with 3 characters on. I haven't been booted :P The "/search" function seems broken though, it isn't updating player's locations.

ok for those of us who are busy with RL and just popped onto get login points after getting home from work, and are on the way out, not to be home again until after JP midnight, means we gonna miss a day of login points. chances of se extending campaign period to compensate for this as its not the fault of the player base? anyone got a % chance of extension happening? prob be about same drop rate of defending ring

Its just 100 login points. And soon the problem should be fixed.
