Will Pot and Prostitution Save Puerto Rico?
i support hookers and pot carry on puerto rico america will bail you out in the end with money it doesn't have anyway
Hey at least when ***doesn't work out the way they want it to, they can just get people so high that they forget? Not bad PR, Not bad...
Pulguita said: » So much ignorants it makes my eyes bleed... People need to realize that this economical crisis is nothing but recent, it goes way back, easily like 40-50 years old, still many of Puertoricans politicians go to jail because of thievery. And that's to blame the ignorant people that vote for fanatics and not for knowledge. The economy will keep going down, example, Puertoricans senators gains almost 200k/year, have a car, cellphone, all meals during a 5 day labor shift estimated for 40 hours weekly, all payed by the common people taxes, they don't work on ANY Puertorican celebration day and still get payed if is on normal week (not weekend sicne they don't work for God's sake on weekend or festivities). Point to be short is, why complain so much when the direct fix to the root is the government? Reduce senators and all those useless to be politicians they budget and fix it to the people. P.S. I'm Puertorican You should get that looked at... but it seems self inflicted. Senate of Puerto Rico $73,775 (actual annual salary) x 27 senators = 2 million dollars even if we used your pretend numbers it's only 5 million... Hell let's multiply that number times a hundred! that's 550 million! unfortunately.... THE DEBT IS 70 BILLION DOLLARS that is $70,000,000,000.00 $70,000,000,000.00 <-debt 5,000,000.00 <-imaginary savings created by firing all the senators Number of years it would take to recover the debt under the Pulguita Plan = 14,000 YEARS!!! I dunno, pot and prostitution doesn't sound as lucrative as hookers and blow.
While we are riding around on the $70,000,000,000.00 elephant in the room, let's do some more math!
back in the old days a quarter ounce was $25 and since we are buying in bulk let's stick with that... OK! so let's say PR grows it, bags it, and distributes it without incurring any costs at all that will only take..... 2,800,000,000 that's two billion eight hundred thousand quarter ounce bags of weed to get back in the black!.... if we could get 2.8 million people into PR to buy this magical free to produce and distribute weed they would only need to each smoke 1,000 bags of it each!! whoopee! crisis averted! of course if it was a 10% sales tax they were collecting... and they could collect that tax for free that would only be... twenty eight billion bags of weed! If everyone on the planet chipped in they would only each have to smoke an ounce!.... (or donate $10) Offline

How many hookers will it take before we put a dent in that deficit I'd like to do my part.

How many hookers does it take to get a country out of a $70 bln deficit? Depends on the market, then we can do the math, lol.

(or donate $10) Hell, we could pay off the debt in about a week and a half with a program like that. Well, give or take a couple hours to cover the medical costs of extremely prolapsed rectums. Politicians are only metaphorically used to taking it in the *** (from lobbyists, of course). Yet. Offline

I think it's time to call in Bono and see if he can get some of it forgiven. Shiva.Nikolce said: » Leviathan.Chaosx said: » How many hookers does it take to get a country out of a $70 bln deficit? Bono that the guy that is more famous for wearing sunglasses than being a singer ?
Way too many numbers here. Just USPS the weed and allow me to choose hookers like Netflix.
Bonus points if some inventive soul comes up with a way of USPS'ing the hookers. Offline

Supposing there was no social stigma involved (or only a minimal one), as has been the case in various cultures and times throughout history, would you frequent the services of a sex worker?
Ironically, since legitimizing its red light district, Amsterdam has seen fewer and fewer people visiting prostitutes because the thrill of taboo appears to be a big part of the whole thing. And I guess most people either lack the funds to indulge in whatever strange fantasy they have ("I'm going to wear this diving suit with the *** cut out and you slap me in the balls with a haddock for 45 minutes, ok?") or lack the motivation to pursue a business-like transaction to shift some body fluids around. I would have to dig around to see what economic impact the brothels in certain Nevada counties have had, but I've read several accounts of what it is like to work in them. It has the mixed air of being a waitress at TGIFridays, an orderly in a hospital, and an entry-level social worker with boundary issues. The sex part seems to be the least onerous aspect compared to the quota-designating meetings, extensive personal and client medical checks, and the variety of mental hang-ups the average client brings with him (or her? dunno if there are any brothels catering to women, though I know there are plenty of straight male prostitutes acting outside the law in Vegas). I think I read somewhere that there is an all male (workers) brothel in NV outside the city limits.
Leviathan.Chaosx said: » I there. now I believe it. Brothel inspectors know no bounds.
Hey, if he's putting money into the economy and keeping our fine male prostitutes employed then I'll shake his hand cause he's doing it for America!
After you wash those hands, of course. Whatever floats your boat
Whatever rocks your socks Whatever flips your pancake Whatever melts your butter Whatever teeters your totter Whatever bakes your cake Whatever tickles your pickle Whatever razzles your berries Whatever milks your goat Whatever cocas your cola Whatever bastes your turkey Whatever lights your candle Whatever flies your flag Whatever pings your pong Whatever creams your cheese Whatever butters your biscuit Whatever humps your camel Whatever lights your candle Whatever sizzles your bacon Whatever blows your hair back Whatever blows your skirt up and Misacat's favorite Whatever peels your banana The real question is, should the legalization of drugs be tied into prostitution?

I don't think legal prostitutes are required to serve anyone they don't want to serve.
Not from a legal perspective, but more like an industry thing. Like is it shunned upon if they don't?

When your pimp has a gun aimed at your brainstem, then yes. When you work in a legal brothel, you're not even required to have sex at all (but you will be fired). The prostitution industry seems a little more complex then.
Considering how many women are willing to do girl-on-girl for a little extra money and how many gay-for-pay straight ("straight") guys there are in the porn industry, I doubt it'd take a whole lot more to get Johnny Benchpress to bugger you. Getting him to bend over might take a little more lubrication, and I mean that
