So you say you wanted to fix up muscle cars, which are your favorites? What do you drive now?

70 Corvette
71 chevelle SS
69 charger

I currently drive a chevy cruze eco because i don't have a garage to cover up anything nice (and it's a lease). It has a stick so im moderately pleased.

Hello, I'll ask a question. Why do you seem to be so aggressive and angry when it comes to FFXI threads? I've noticed there was a lapse in your post history where you were enjoying the game towards beginning~mid SOA(seemingly), then you are negative anytime you post in an FFXI thread.

I'm sure the game doesn't appeal to you anymore, but I guess I'm curious as to what you hope to accomplish from a psychological point of view. Are you taking out your frustration on the remaining players and attempting to convert them? Are you bitter towards the game/develeopers and attempt to take a jab at them any chance you get? If you really don't care about the game, does your contributions help in any way? If it were me, I'd cherish the memories I had and enjoyed and just move on and ignore it. Just curious on your thoughts!

This more than any of the others. I got hacked, came back, and caught up on 3 months of being MIA in a week. There's nothing left for me to achieve in game that I value. At least before I had 1-2 items worth getting, whereas now even those seem moot (why strive for a d ring when an 11% ring will be in next WKR ... yes im aware its hyperbole).

I do actually have quite a bit of contribution to this forum and even when I ***, I normally will chime in with what theyre doing wrong (instead of just ranting GAME IS BAD GAME IS BAD). I actually think SE could still salvage 11, if they developed content at a far faster rate. (like... unrealistically fast rate being that most games start 1-2 years worth of content from developing the game and SE threw all that away with one fell swoop).

If i were you, I would move on as well. You are almost fundamentally opposed to the people you complain about because you have put blinders on to the problems everyone else is embracing. Everytime I see you posting in a thread about 11 you're essentially running back and forth shouting NUH UH NUH UH.

In the end, I am cherishing the memories I developed in XI. I am still in contact with many of the people I played with. I have many RL friendships built up from playing. The other half of my memories are joining this site and developing friendships here. I still enjoy the people here enough that I spend all my "free" time at work lurking here. I am terribly sorry if the 1 negative post I made about 11 this week was enough to cause you distress. All i said was "subs go down every update (and you're in denial)". I was about the 40th person to say it in that thread. As a matter of fact, in a thread full of "theres only 600-1000 people on my server at any given time" you were like SOURCE? YOU GOT SOURCE BRO? Yeah source is page 1 and 2 :D

tl;dr: If they fire Matsui / devote a far greater amount of resources to the dev team (you know, at least a second person) / release an update this size every 2 weeks, not 3 months, I'll hold you hand frolicking through Rolanberry. Until then, please don't take me being mad they gave a terminal illness to a game i loved (literally emotionally attached too) since NA release personal. It'll never be the "game" i look back at with fondness, it'll always be the people.

I love chocobo's. The royal infantry of San d'Oria are the finest chocobo riders you'll ever see.

All jokes aside, when I first started my first social ls was semi-RP without me knowing. (I just assumed everyone in game acted that way). Us elvaan all acted like arrogant *** and all the taru were know it all (and some even talked in that sing-song rhyme crap).

I genuinely developed a subconscious bias toward taru (even know I'll see taru/lalafell and assume they're going to act superior and have a bit of a napolean complex/compensate).

Ash is what I miss about ffxi before I quit. He always great insight and I loved the simplicity of his spell cast. I loved the old days of hnm camping. Didn't love abysses but didn't hate it. But vw seemed silly too me. Never tried soa so can't comment there. But it's a slowly dying game but at least there's the great people I've met over the years.

Now back on topic!

Ash why do you never call, or write anymore? :(

What do you do now instead of ffxi?

Take your time. Despite the frustration of some tunnel-vision'ed players, this forum is for alumni of ffxi (and people who have never even played). I'm not leaving anytime soon.

I've always been more of a "speak-when-spoken-to" type on the interpersonal level. I'm only gregarious when it comes to group discussions.

I played quite a bit of borderlands 2. Like.... unhealthy amount of borderlands 2. I am also doing a replay of earthbound (mother 2) that I am painstakingly trying to get through (it's hard when you get back to it every once in a while and forget what you were doing). A good portion of my friends went to Balmung on FFXIV. I play that relatively casually (a couple hours on the weekdays as opposed to the "full time" i was on xi). I get my mythology cap every week and get some leveling in on the side.

I also read 1 to 8 hours a day. If a book is good enough, i'll put it down in one sitting. If a book is bad enough, i'll get a chapter further and realise I wasn't paying attention and have to re-read it.

I was tempted not to answer after that first question. Instead of giving you the entire biography, filmography, and chance encounters, ill just say he's my favorite. I didn't typo or forget to put what he is my favorite of. He's my favorite everything.
His facial expressions, voice, and personality bring life and toungue-in-cheek humor to everything he does. His books are also brilliant. I highly recommend you add them to your kindle lists.

Why don't cats get along with me? Cats pretend not to get along with everyone. If you bribe them with catnip they lose their inhibitions and show how they really feel. Also, your people have a long history of eating them.

Why did you blacklist me on gw? I didn't tho.

Why won't narb notice me? Narb plays hard to get. He pretends to ignore me in-game all the time but he notices.

Will you skype with me and show me how to make salsa? #cookwork

I'm usually on mumblez now thanks to "friendship building" with the new people in ls/fc. I'm always down for skype friends tho :D

Fix Or Repair Daily?

I live outside Detroit. People driving American cars here are actually commonplace and most of the people have a preference based on A) family worked for one of the big 3, B) motorhead.

I would love one of the new mustang GT's that were styled to look like shelbys. I don't necessarily HATE Ford. Growing up my single mother had: a Chevy Nova, AMC Gremlin, Ford Escort, and a Ford Tempo (in that order). The Ford's never ran well (my mom's co-workers laughed because I would say "piece of ***car" whenever it stalled at like 5). I guess the stalling, no-heat, dumping-heatercoil-contents-on-my-legs, beaters my mom drove when i was a kid colored my opinion.

Also I was on a team with all Chevys for High School Nationals in Auto Shop. The "scared of Ford" was easy to transition into "disliking Ford" in that environment.

For sure. I've read several since as well. I was thinking about picking up all the King books that supposedly reference the Tower series (out of curiosity) but I feel like that would be playing into his trap.

My favorite what? All jokes aside I watched a couple episodes of Geiss and said "this isn't for me". I liked voltron as a kid and love the macross universe. I think Neon Genesis is grossly overrated (while I'm blaspheming).

Carbuncle.Skulloneix said: »

I am extremely paranoid and would assume that the "dome" would crack or whatever. I don't know which scares me more, drowning or depressurizing in space but either way *** that.

Carbuncle.Skulloneix said: »

No, sadly. I am told i can be quite persuasive. I thought I always did a great job as a leader but I tend to lose my temper REALLY easily with any kind of dissent. I also set the bar pretty high so people who drag their feet at anything tend to resent me.

A gentleman never kiss and tells. I do prefer monogamy to polyamory. I also get pretty focused on one thing. A whole squadron would just be diluting my efforts to put it bluntly.

Roy Focker/Fokker. My cousin (who is 8 years older than I) let me watch Robotech at his house when I was 4-6ish (1987-9ish). Obviously when watching that show, you feel like "you" are in the position of Hikaru (Rick hunter). I never had a dad growing up, so i looked up to my cousin and "older brother" type figures. I even remember picking a piot in UN squadron because it LOOKED like roy, years later.

I also remember thinking the captain in the sega genesis title "Taget Earth" was inspired by Captain Gloval. (irrelevant but one of my fav 16-bit titles that aren't RPG).

VF-0 with fokker colors OFC.

love triangles, i don't care for but I did LOVE it when max and miriya hooked up. i kinda liked max's mousey character that overshadowed his badassery behind the wheel. it was kinda a good foil to her "ME BEST ZENTREADI PILOT EVAR RAWR". Good stuff.

Song, i dunno. You'll probably ***bricks but I only really watched the DUBBED (gasp) american version of the show. My knowledge of the universe is based on playing palladium books table games. Yes, i was a dice-table-game nerd at *** 6 years old. lol.
