Special Three-Day-Only Campaign?
I've gotten 2 Kupon L, and 3 Kupon S. I have no idea what Kupon S is for.
Nevermind, figured it out. Kupon S when traded to the Moogle gives you the option of choose the job and the part you wish to get 8 (or 10 if body) seals to immediately upgrade NQ Empyrean Armor to +1. What we need to know is what comes from the HKC fights, given there's a very distinct uptick in quality of drops going from Phobos to Deimos, I can see some very nice stuff coming from them.
Stuff like Ormulu ingots fit the pattern, and possibly higher tier Bonanza Kupons. Offline

quick guys find the Foreboding: Head abjs! I still need mine ; ;
I just did another Avian Apostates run.
I got a Kupon L and x3 Kupon S along with Utsusemi Ni, Vanadium Ore, and a Transitory Abj: Head Quick update:
Soloed Mobline Comedy (Bia50) on BST which was fun, but drops were kinda underwhelming. Only the bugbears drop loot on death, and what they dropped wasn't particularly good. Only thing I've not seen elsewhere was Staghorn coral. May go again tomorrow as at least the chest loot is half decent, but its a lot less stuff than the deimos orb fights. ItemSet 314285
Been using this set ever since most of my friends took a break from the game and whatnot soloing old content /WAR. A slapped together set for my RDM basically, nothing super amazing augment wise just PDT 1-2% with some MAB augs and some M.Acc augs here and there. Just buffed up entered the fight and picked em off one by one and used Sanguine Blade when needed or fired a cure. anyone know drop rate on moogle rod?

anyone knnow where woe stuff drop more often? did a couple 30 phobos orbs and were dropping ok, moved to 50 demons ones and never see drops again

Also, it seems that every mob in the BC has a lootpool like the one posted. As such, it's best to do the BCs with more mobs/seal. Fun to see phalanx jumping from 0,2 sold per day to 123 sold per day.
Meteor and arise prices didnt changed yet. They are rare to drop? Got C.head and Arise from Last-Shunned Orc Hero, which is an easy dualbox and would probably be an easy solo on DNC.
I've done 6x Bomb and 2x Orcs and scored 9 Utsu: Ni, Arise, something like 4 Raise IIIs, and a Scarletite Ingot Just got 2 C.Feet abjurations off Last Orc-Shunned Hero. Has anyone found a zone that drops F. Abj's yet?
I got Corvine Head and Corvine Feet from Last Orc-Shunned Hero just now.
One guy in our party got a Heavy Metal Pouch. Pretty sure it was from Bia Orb in Monarch Linn, but we also did Mobline Comedy and Last Orc-Shunned Hero or whatever it's called, so there's a chance it was one of them instead. Monarch Linn fight only the bird drops extra loot, not the elementals.
Maybe if the bcnm have less nms, the drops have better quality?
Did taurassik park, with 5 nms. Nothing so special. Scrolls for AM and utsusemi ni, lots of cupons seal and some random itens (dragon meat, betlee saliva, some items i dont even know what it does, etc.). Just got F.Body & F.Feet from Dragon Scales

Ragnarok.Inx said: » Thanks. As it turns out, another stupidly easy fight on BST. Can you share your setup & tactics that made this a stupidly easy fight? I have done both "Whom wilt thou Call" and "Dragon Scales" solo on dnc/nin. The former was super easy with just a standard evasion set, no worries at all. Dragon Scales there are some things to watch out for, Mighty Strikes, Curse, and un-timely dispels can hurt, so bring RR for the unlucky curse-dispel-crit.
The loot pools seem very similar across the board; main thing I've noticed are:
Want WoE coin pouches, do a phobos orb. Doing a deimos orb replaces WoE pouches with a low chance of abjurations (type by BC location), better crafting items, and L-tier Kupons. Done a couple of Bia orbs (Mobline) and seen only stuff same as with deimos. May be better stuff in there (e.g HMP's) but I'd suspect they are low frequency drops on par or worse than Scarletite from deimos fights. Its pretty predictable what you are likely to get. For example in deimos orb fights each "scoring" mob drops a max of 6 items on death. First slot is a monstrosity item or a low value event giveaway like redeyes. Second slot seems to be almost invariable a kupon S, Next two slots are spell scrolls, (usually AM, Utsu Ni, Phalanx, R3, Indi-Mal, etc) rare chance on these looks like meteor or arise. Next slot is a crafting item, which can be anything from a kitron to a scarletite ingot. Final slot is always a +2 AF3 item, which may vary by zone. Remora.Azildas said: Can you share your setup & tactics that made this a stupidly easy fight? Gear is nothing special. Full Skirmish with good (not best)augments mainly for eva/m.eva. Highest iLvl weapon for pet level (I use hunaphu), and AF2+2 (aug) hands, legs and feet. Although you shouldn't need familar for Shell Shocked. Pick a suitable pet, DY for melee heavy, GG for nuke heavy, send it in without aggroing mobs and let it supertank while you kill the enemies in the most effective order. Usually mages first because the melee-based NM's really struggle to hit the pet. Keep your eye on the pet's hp and it should be straightforward. The only variations on this basic strategy are tweaking the balance between pet -dt and your dd potential. For Mobline Comedy where DY needs to hold up 10 mobs obviously you want to use familiar (ideally with Aug AF2+2 pants) and a set with more -pdt/-dt/def for pet even though it makes you kill more slowly. Its really that simple. High level pets are ridiculously hard to kill, especially if you have a few theta's and mulsum's on hand. If you end up aggroing multiple mobs, get some hate on all of them and snarl them onto the pet. Just remember to stay in range so it works! |
