Birds body looks a little short to me, but I can't wait to fight it.
If colonization rates in these new areas are somewhat high. Kind of sick of going cor to these all the time.

Adding runefencer in a pic does not make it a relevant job. betting stunning the bird naak makes it rage.
Runfencer idling in orvail body is the most unphotogenic thing ever atm, hoping RUN body has 2tick/refresh.

hoping theres some nice armor/accessories from these new bosses, feeling like noone will really want these new naaks for the announced weaps based on current alliance setups.

So is the issue that blu spells don't scale with weapon damage? Making them worthless?

That seems like a bit fix honestly,with loads of testing so not uber overpowered.... but they should have started on it months ago.

in response to someone asking about new BLU spells. From that, it looks as if BLU spells will be adjusted in July, or perhaps August (since they only recently divided the update up). Of course, it could just be a lie.

Yeah I would not have too high of expectations, if they update it in July then it's awesome, otherwise expect August or Sept. I would not be surprised if it ends up being December update lol - maybe by then they add more new blue mage spells to learn as well.

Updates aren't monthly. They have been every three months but now kinda all over the place. I would expect Oct/Nov - knowing SE, during Thanksgiving.

I can't think of very many, if any, MMO expansions in any sort of recent memory that included all of their content at launch tbh. That said, the amount of story content that was launched with SoA was absolutely abysmal, hoping we get a good chunk over the course of July/August.

It's one of the problems. Blue magic D is derived from skill, so it has absolutely no way of keeping up with these new, immense D weapons in its current state. Other issue is blue magic attack, which will probably never be addressed.

Hello, Matsui here.

I'd like to make an announcement about the next version update.

We’ve been working extremely hard to fit as much content as possible in the July version update so everyone can enjoy it over summer break, but due to balance adjustments, bug verification, and localization work we will be splitting up the update into two portions, the first taking place on July 9th (Tuesday) and the other taking place the beginning of August.

I apologize to everyone who was looking forward to this.

Below I've written out a comprehensive list of the content that will be implemented during each part.

Up until now we have released year-long roadmaps for FFXI.

We also tried releasing half-year roadmaps as well; however, the further out we write a schedule the less accurate it becomes, and we are only able to let you know about major and limited content.

As a result, many have been disappointed because of schedule changes, it's been difficult to make frequent updates to it, and there are too many cons to having this, so we'll be changing it so we provide something like the current style moving forward where we go over what will be in the version update to come.
