Would it be possible to have the Guildwork program track where your skills are exactly? It could show where your crafting/magic/combat skills are.

For example:
Crafting
Smithing 19.5
Clothcraft 21.7
Alchemy 60.6
Woodworking 34.4
Goldsmithing 24.3
Leathercrafting 22.8
Bonecraft 25.1
Cooking 60.9
Fishing 27.2
Synergy 48.0

It could also include a new category for ALL magic/combat skills.

I've always liked knowing exactly where my skills are at, so that I know what I need to skill up.

The FFXIAH site could also give points to people based on where their skills are. This would show off who has put forth the most effort on their characters and who just ran through and halfassed it. The point system could be made so that you get 1 point per level to that skill. If you have a skill capped out, then your points double. This would take care of making it fair for every skill based on its individual cap.

The idea for points based on skill is only for magic/combat skills, since crafting and merits already have a point system.

Feedback on this idea would be appreciated.

I have always wanted this to happen. To track your skills.
I think this is a good idea. You have my support, Wolfemasters!

But, I have no idea why there is even a point system. What the heck do you do with them? Lol It makes no sense to have points....unless, it is to track your ranking. o.o I don't know. XD

Anyways, I like this idea, and think it should be implemented. GW team, FFXIAH team and Windower team should think of a system for this.

Is there a way to suggest this to someone in specific for including it in a future update?

Can ask Scragg, which he seems to already know this atm.(the first+ to your post)

So in essence, he may already know and may be looking into it!

Here's another idea (but this may already be done and I just don't know about it).

I know there is a Latent Checker program out there, is there a way to incorporate that into Windower?

This site and it's achievement point system is already screwy enough as it is - you can have a bunch of empyrean weapons stuck at level 80 (i.e. they are absolutely useless) and get more achievement points than someone who has 2 level 90 empyreans and 3 level 99 relics - just as an example.

I don't mind having GW track my combat/magic skill levels. But dishing out achievement points for those levels? Noty.

Actually, I have a level 80 Almace and I don't get points for it. Once it hits level 85, I'll get points. I have credit for having an Almace, but it's the first tier, so no actual points.

This is what the Linkshell community should have always shown but Square Enix fails.

Great idea sir.

You get 5000 achievement points for a level 80 empyrean weapon. Unless the achievement tab on your profile page is wrong.

Okay, it never used to give me points for it. Maybe it took time to process?
