Haven't seen information on this yet, perhaps I'm not looking hard enough. Has anyone had a problem with the client crashing when logging in and about about 3-4 times? 4.0 doesn't randomly crash on me anymore like it used to but now I have this problem when logging into mules to check auction house.

Anyone else having this problem or know a work-around? It happens on both of my PCs, win 7 and win 8. Thanks for any info.

Blinkmenot appears to be the source. Try unloading it before you log. Annoying, but less annoying than restarting FFXI.

This happens to me, but only because of Spellcast :/ I haven't experienced the same problem with BMN. I unload it before getting on mule and I don't crash.

Yeah was just about to say, its not blinkmenot that is causing the problem. I'll try spellcast next.

spellcast, blinkmenot, or statustimer are the usual suspects for that kind of crashing

make a windower script that unloads all your plug ins, and then /logout or /shutdown. Have been doing that for years and have rarely crashed while muling. I've tried unloading a few plugins that everyone says cause it and I always seem to get a crash when I need to mule fast and people are waiting on me!

Just take your init file, grab the plugins loaded at start, and change load to unload. Erase everything else. Save it in your scripts directory under a name you will remember; mine are logout.txt and shutdown.txt

to run the file: //exec logout.txt

This requires autoexec? Also mind sharing a blank version of the script? I would be very interested in doing this.

Thanks
