As soon as I hit waypoint and warped the game immediately crashed...I know im not the only one.
I cant log on because the game will crash again but my mules are fine....

I just called a GM on my mule idk if they can do anything.
I think the adoudlin dats are messed up for us :/ so im rechecking my dats right now to see if it fixes it.

WOW...and your on 360 so definately didnt mess up anything with dats or anything....wtf
:/ i thought it was dats, because i tried login a diff character and got the same issue when the character already is in adoulin on their computer.
It is very possible that it is still a DAT issue. Early today there were many issues with people connecting, timeouts and such; it is also possible that a DAT was corrupted, or has been missed out due to the stress overload. This might also be linked to the individuals whose Title Music does not play.

I also crashed upon warping (PC version). Doing a DAT check now to try fix the issue.

Been trying since 7am to Log On and update and that took 8hrs to do then I had to sit for 4hrs more to go to Adoulin just to get stuck and will have to wait till sometime tomorrow just to play this is horsesh*t.
My title music didn't play either - sounds like we have the same problem. :C

This might be something different. Though still do a File Check from Playonline Main Menu (Before you even log into POL). This should hopefully fix your issue.

Running a file check on 360 "50883" files >< think they will have to do emergency maintenance cause I'm pretty sure its just not a hand full of people.

i did POL check and it was fine...running xi check now.
all my checks were good repairs the bad files, i was getting kicked on hitting play on windower and req pol lol
All they need to do is a force file-check for everyone ^^ No need for extended maintenance and all. Just run the FFXI file check, someone I know got 500 odd broken files, and is just about to finish up.
Still crashes. lol
Workin on the 421 broken files I have repairing atm, will confirm as well in a little.

If this doesn't work, the next thing I can suggest is comparing the folder sizes with that of a friend, ROM folder by ROM folder, until there is a difference, and then diving in to do the same, folder by folder.
