Valefor.Angelprincess said: » lawl in that case my pc's time (and timezone) is way off... -.- bah. well updating now No it's not... >_> GMT is a static timezone, you don't REALLY change timezone during daylight savings, it's just that you end up beeing "GMT+1+1", GMT never change, but we still set our clocks one hour forward. not if you live in arizona!

Valefor.Angelprincess said: » i live in GMT+1 timezone and its 9:46am here.. so 8:46am gmt... how is that making them use gmt timezone correct tho =/ blonde and all but still... lol Blonde, indeed! If that helps, there is a plugin for Firefox called "FoxClock". You can add all the timezones possible at the bottom of the browser. This way, you can see in live: GMT, BST, GMT+2, PDT, EST, JST and so on. From there, you can understand whatever timezone used in the blink of an eye. Bahamut.Justthetip

Phoenix.Hellcatt said: » if they did there jobs right the first time they wouldent b stuck there so long lmao i can possibly see that almost everyone there now works on FF14, and the few guys left are no server technicians and now work through a 3000 pages manual on how to do that , lol. I rolled out a new Self Service Kiosk release last night to our stations in London, Kent, Paris, and Brussels.
There was only twenty minutes outage. Problems do occur at random, it's not always easy to complete a task on time.
I have no idea wth they do when they update FFXI, but it might not be a stupidly easy task:P That said, I find it hard to understand why they don't just do this ***on a dummy-server first, to make sure they know what to do, THEN do it on the real servers <_> It might be the long way to do it, but it's after all a service they offer thousands of people, and they should make sure to have as little downtime as possible Cerberus.Kvazz said: » Problems do occur at random, it's not always easy to complete a task on time.
