Don't understand how that's so funny? their level of force/presence/power when it comes to legislation is scary.

they like it because it gives them jobs, there's a large budget for the "war on drugs" and each dept gets a good chunk, and all sorts of toys, like assault weapons to fight this "war".

the part about distribution is exactly a good point of why it's still illegal, drug lords don't want it legalized, they make too much money, why would somebody go to the crackhead down the street to buy an 1/8th when they can go to the store for better uncut and don't have to worry about the fuzz?

Intent to distribute would be near non-existent, unless they were stupid and didn't change the laws. People keep their stash separate to distribute, and that's how they get busted, people with fine herb who don't sell don't usually keep it separate unless it's different kinds, also they won't need as much as the good ***gets you higher for longer and you don't need as much. Also there's a point to be said here: for never smoking, I know way too much about pot...

The other drugs would still be focused on, but using the same logic as alcohol, there's no reason for it. But some of those drugs are much worse than alcohol, then again alcohol is worse than marijuana as MJ doesn't have permanent side effects...

China's military would have an extremely hard time waging a war on American soil... They're armies are vast in numbers but their methods of transport are still severely lacking... To give you an idea they only just built their first aircraft carrier recently...

In the end... All out war really won't benefit anyone especially China and the cost of life would be staggering. The world really is interdependent these days.

If nothing else, China will take over the US in time. We owe them so much money that they will want us to pay up at some point. Just like a loan shark, when we can't pay they will take some property, seize assets, and break some bones in the process.

I wouldn't say India loves us... They are our allies right now but they don't like that we give aid to Pakistan among other things...

na, China needs us more than we need them, and that won't change anytime soon.

what they have is a cheap workforce, we could obtain one real quick if they wanted to. Even minimum wage @30 hours a week is pretty cheap compared to transportation, the real trick would be to refurb the factories.

We do need more Chinese babies though, otherwise we won't be able to do math when our current stockpile runs out.

Also because that would mean a new world war. The net of alliances will bring at least half of the world to war (Nkorea/Skorea/India/Pakistan>>More middle east involvement/going out of control/Iran/Europe etc) and noone wants that.

You guys need to lay off the Command and Conquer Generals.
