2 question:

Question 1:

How Long does it take to get from Coalition Rank 0 ~> 7 ?

Question 2:

Does TP Bonus (Moonshade) / Double Attack (Brutal)
Affect Ranged WS ?
or is it a better combo with : Oneiros / Clearview ?

Thank you ^^/

Question 1: BG-Wiki has it listed as needing 20 imprimatur uses of the current level, more imprimaturs being required if you do assignments from a previous level.

Question 2: TP Bonus will affect Ranged WS, Double Attack won't. Moonshade will still be a very solid WS option, I'd imagine for the other earring, a stat earring would be a good choice.

Moonshade - Only if there is a TP modifier, example: Just looked, seems all Archery and Marksmanship WS have some form of TP modifier, so Moonshade is often the best option
Sidewinder : Delivers an inaccurate attack that deals quintuple damage. Accuracy varies with TP.
In this case, Moonshade would grant you bonus Ranged Accuracy, like you were shooting with an extra 250 TP.

Brutal Earring, No. Double Attack has never helped ranged attacks, at all.

From my experience with ranking up Coalitions, you get the same progress for doing assignments at your level, and for assignments one level below.

I have a question about the Fotia Gorget and Belt. They are basically like all the elemental gorgets/belts, just combined correct? (Ex. I could use Fotia instead of Breeze for Coronach, and use Fotia for Last Stand instead of etc.)

Correct, though slightly improved (like the 1% chance to not use TP). They're not always the optimal piece for the slot, depending on the WS, but they'll never be a bad one, and make excellent defaults.

Yeah, though the description on the items themselves are off, they function the same as the old ones combined, and with the +1% chance of not consuming TP.

Could anyone give me an estimate on how much time it would take to complete the SoA missions from about chapter 2 or so?

Meteor can't be resisted so you want as much MAB INT and elemental magic skill as possible.

Something like that :

ItemSet 337623

For body, helios / hagondes with mab / Psycloth path D, are acceptable replacement.

The part I was hung up on was the elemental magic skill. I don't remember the testing on Meteor so I don't know at what point it would edge out the MAB on two comparable pieces. Something like Logaeth cuffs - MATK+25 Ele skill +13 INT+23 vs those you have MAB+36 INT+27. Difference of 11 MAB and 4 INT vs 13 Elemental skill.

If we take bg wiki formula in consideration :

(1+MAB/100)*floor(INT + Elemental Magic Skill/6)*3.5

in your exemple, naked with only the gloves, it would give (considering you have base 500 ele skill & 100 INT) :

999 with Wicce +1
910 with Loagaeth

So it seems the formula favors mab over ele skill.

I just resubbed to XI after a two year hiatus. I'd like to get back into the game and to do so I want to use spellcast so I can play like I used to. It seems as if spellcast has been replaced by gearswap but to be honest I'd rather just use spellcast until I'm more comfortable with the game/know I want to invest time into it. I have the spellcast.dll in my plugins folder but it doesn't show up in the plugins list within Windower. I used the konami code and it still didn't show up. "//load spellcast" tells me that windower is too old of a version to support spellcast which is weird since windower 4 updated successfully.

I was thinking the final version of the spellcast.dll would fix my issue but I haven't been able to find it via google. Does anyone have it? Thanks all.

It won't fix your problems, spellcast is broken and won't be fixed.

Ah damn. Are there any gearswap templates, more specifically for PLD, anywhere?

On a related note, gearswap doesn't appear in my plugins tab within windower. I thought all plugins would appear in there even if they weren't dl yet.

Gearswap is in the addons tab, as for a file template, a common one people use is Motenten's files, you can download them here: https://github.com/Kinematics/GearSwap-Jobs

Also if you have any problems, you can ask here, people will help you:
http://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/41580/gearswap-support-thread/77/#2960755

I must say I kept using spellcast until the day it died but Gearswap is MUCH better, once you get the hang of it I'm sure you'll agree.

The full Augument list is on Nolans page, i'd suggest rereading it.
(Paths A - C on the entire set is the same)

I didn't know about A-C being the same for all pieces, thanks.

edit: and didn't notice only the hands have all paths listed and only D paths have question marks, which explains everything, derp.
