bleach finally coming to an end
While I'm glad the manga is going on I think they should have stopped this first anime series after Aizen and started the next one with this substitute arc. With the almost 2 year gap it would have been the perfect separation point because ironically it'll probably be about 2 years before the next anime series starts.
WTF NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
saw that coming 2 years ago, bleach anime has been ***for a long time. Fillers destroy shows, this isnt the first shounen to get this treatment and it wont be the last. They did the same thing with inuyasha, then they waited like 3 years to release new episodes of the show detailing the end of the manga, they will prolly do the same with bleach.
but but...the it the anime was about to start the final arc >:[

And all I have to say is this: About bloody time. was reading around, possible rumor that bleach is going to a different channel in japan...so... i hope this is true ;~;
I watched the last episode and thought it was pretty disappointing, can anyone recommend another anime with a similar feel as Bleach?
Started to watch Claymore last night and it seems pretty good but I don't think there are many episodes I wish the show would finally end, and then they remake the show, kinda like full metal alchemist, but get rid of all the damn filler episodes, because I think that's what kills this show, and naruto >_<
I guess ill consider the fullbring arc this shows majin buu arc >_>.
all and all, was a pretty good show, had a whole bunch of good episodes, but a whole bunch of crappy episodes also. I enjoyed watching the show over the past what 7 years. Anyways, I need another anime to watch , 1 of my friends says high school of the dead is ok... I wont lie, I am completely heart broken.. =(
Claymore has 26 episodes, or you can read the manga, it continues after the anime serie :)
The Bleach manga is still going as well, but people seem to be afraid to read manga for some reason.
I'm sure once the manga ends they will release Bleach X just for the last arc.
The anime would catch up to the manga eventually so they had to pause the anime so the manga can get further ahead. This is what im told

posted this in RT yesterday...
Quote: Live Action BLEACH Writer: Film to Respect Original Manga As the anime series had just ended last week, screenwriter Dan Mazeau (Wrath of the Titans) talks about his upcoming project, the aforementioned live action film adaptation of the supernatural manga and anime, BLEACH. Mazeau explained that both getting the rights and the scriptwriting itself were a long process for Bleach: “But early on we set down with Tite Kubo the creator and the publisher of the series, and we had a long meeting, making sure we're respectful to the property. Nobody wants to, well…” He stated that he want to refrain from doing the same mistake made by previous live action adaptation and added, “if you enjoyed [Dragon Ball Evolution] movie, that's great, but I thought it was a noble effort that ultimately didn't succeed. That's what we're trying to avoid. We want to make sure this movie lives up to what the manga is.” Since he wanted to be faithful to Tite Kubo's work, he plans to set it in Japan, where most live action anime adaptations failed to utilize. “I'm currently working on Bleach and the idea is to set it in Japan and really be respectful to the source material. It's an amazing story. I've been shorthanding it as an 'action-adventure Sixth Sense,' but obviously on a bigger canvas than that. So I'm incredibly excited about that. It's a good one.” Needs to be in Japanese too >_> Worked well in The Last Samurai. I don't think anyone wanting to see the live action version will have a problem with reading subs.

One new episode a month maybe? Or one episode then fillers for a month. Many shows have run at the same time as the manga and were only 25-26 episodes, and they all ended horribly. I didn't even watch the last 2 eps of Claymore. Everyone is talking about how the anime caught up with the manga, and that's why they're stopping. You realize that over 1/3rd(~156 episodes) of anime series is filler because it kept catching up with the manga?
Naruto started fresh with Shippuden when there was enough of the manga released so it wouldn't be filler but they still aired Naruto fillers every week up until Shippuden came out. There wasn't a halt to the anime at any point like Bleach is doing. I personally skip the fillers, but it just seems weird to me that they'd cancel it now instead of just put more filler in like they have been doing all along. It just is a bit scary. I'd like to think that they'd start releasing it again once the manga is done but there is no guarantee of that. People have mentioned reading the manga. But I really don't enjoy reading manga on the computer. If I had a tablet or if there was a way to get physical copies it may be better, but I'd still prefer anime. Anime captures me more because it has colors, it has sounds, and you see the movement. I am a person who prefers movies over books though. xD I smell an OVA for the final chapter, and everyone dies.
