If you were to Melee, what body piece would you use and why? I'm looking for alturnatives.

Thanks!

Personally I'd use Loki's Kaftan if acc is not an issue, for extra crit-hit dmg and STP. If acc is a problem then Taranis's Harness.

That new Mextli Harness + head looks good as well.

I'd use a good augmented Wivre Gorget over that, and body idk if DW/STP ACP body would be better if you're not using it up elsewhere.

MAB+4 and QD-5 for COR and BLU purposes.

I'm pretty sure the only thing that matters is how sexy you look so this wins by default. unless youre a mithra and then you have a little bit more flexibility

So with the Mextli stuff, and Dusk +1, aaaaaaand Wivre with Crit Rate+3 (or 2, can't remember max crit rate on it)

This would be the optimal set I would think.

Would do augmented dagger (forgot name of it, from grauberg) over twilight *if* you're doing evisceration and not a shooting WS. If you're shooting it's w/e. And I forgot about the Mextli stuff, lolupdates. :(

Ocelot and Mextli together would also be the single ugliest gear combination possible, even beating out the Dnc AF1+Subligar combo on Galkas.

Mexti Harness doesn't give the Critical hit rate to the wearer, but is still probably the best option, and also reinforces your support role and gives you justification to melee in the first place! (Giving sphere to nearby allies)

taranis's harness? i stopped using my skadi for that on KC rng, you would lose DW from mextli(see next point ;o). Also, if your concern is strictly gaining tp with a melee weapon, i belive single weilding multi-hit weapons is better than dual weilding(im sure the effect isnt as noticable with 2-3 hit weaps vs 2-8, but i still think it'd make a difference), though i see that its a twilight knife, so i dont know how that works out with the quadruple att (im still pretty confident single weilding multi-hit is better, if melee tp gain is the only concern) maybe i'm wrong or overlooked something, i dont know all the stuff cor has access to, but that harness should be a winner

If you're meleeing for a ranged WS, yeah single wielding will gain TP faster. But if you're doing Evi, then single wield will lose the offhand hit for WS, therefore much lower WS dmg(And lower melee DPS as well, which is a lot if you used RR atma).

Loki has a bit higher STP than Taranis's Harness, but Taranis has higher acc, so that harness wins in sigle-wielding situation if you need acc, or else Loki is better.

Mextli + head is probably the best if you DW.
