Nier has one of the best soundtracks ever. SE may make crappy games but they do get the music right most of the time.

It happens in a flashback, not really stated but hinted at. It was also kinda said before the game came out so everyone knew.

long day today :| Work from 9:00AM - 2:00 PM, then have to meet my friend at the college and go with him to gamestop from around... 4:00PM ... till around 12:00AM/1:00AM, then playing PS4 till god knows when :x
