I love how you say everybody. That includes yourself when your first AND second post in this thread had absolutely nothing to do about the topic at all. Riiiight, what's wrong with this picture.
Thanks! Moving along...
I love how you can't read or take things into context.

you're a *** idiot, go die somewhere, since you obviously didn't even know how to play the game when you did play.

2011 Battle Adjustments Part 1
The now skilling and exp will be more appealing in none Aby areas.
At present, only by fighting foes rated "Even Match" or stronger can players raise their combat and magic skills to their upper limits. With the February version update, however, this requirement will be reduced to "Decent Challenge." Further, players will find that actions targeting themselves or party members will raise the corresponding skill at a faster rate. Once these changes come into effect, players can expect larger figures to accompany each rise in skill. Puppetmasters should also be pleased to know that automatons, too, will benefit from this adjustment.
Honestly though I always thought "Decent Challenge" was more challenging than "Even Match"... But Wha'da'ya Know?

I always thought in-game decent challenge came after even match in yielding exp and/or skill points. But SE say "reduced" from EM to DC. /em shrugs

Unless you are talking about low levels, THF do not SATA once they obtain assassin. You split it up for max dmg.

obviously pre60, sorry for making the assumption that I had to clarify.
Although interesting question, how is thf now? mine's still at 76 and I've been thinking of hoping on it, but what is it's roll now?

Win
Shiva.Gylfie said: Ramuh.Lilsanchez said: It can mean both. Skilled players really should have their job skills capped. Am I wrong? So very wrong, only the truly skilled players leech all their jobs in abyssea so their ffxiah rating goes up.
lol so tru xD

+10 lol'd hard.
Is it just me or do you see a bunch of people running around with high lvl gear and no skill in thier jobs. The weapons dont hit crap, their nukes are slaps on the wrist. Its just sad when a lvl 90RDM does more Bliz4 damage than a lvl 90BLM.
Remember we feared this when smn burn parties were on the rise, but at this magnitude we will have servers with people who are capped in their lvl with the best gear and the skill of a wet noodle.
When the 1st Abby released, i think i took my brd from 55-75 in one setting, but thankfully i was blowing my horn alot to maintain good skill. I then noticed the ease of lvling up abby gives. Now we have "box openers" that are lvling up fast but not doing thier job so their skill stays dorment. Years ago skill was necessary to adventurer and the way lvl partys used to form it was strange not to skill up while you are lvling. Not anymore... the bad skill just get worse. So my query is, Do we not need skill anymore or what?
