Do you know if this ks99 can be duoed/trioed now? I'm planning to finish the damn BB, still missing the egg. BLM+RDM or BLM RDM & SMN. Any personal experiences? Thanks. Also interested in any strats pertaining this. Because *** camping Adaman anymore.
Beg your ls to do it until you annoy them enough, then blm burn it. That's all I know about it.

Can't give you input on "Hills"...
But I have done 5 man "Wyrm" and "Horns" since even the 80 update and ***is easy now. Like stupid easy. I'm sure "Hills" wouldn't be any different. I suppose i can halp you out. I did this about 3 weeks ago, took about 4 blms some dd's that can sc and a whm. basically when its out of the shell, blms rest mp and when ready, can melee for tp and when it goes into the shell sc/mb it out, pretty simple. We tried to just zerg it but we didn't have enough blm power to do so. I think you could do this with 7-8 people with the right jobs and once you get the hang of the pattern, i'd bring more healers, dd sub nin and as many blms as you can find. went 1/1 on egg and got trotter boots as well
I recently did this with a good friend of mine as well. 4 runs, 2/4 egg drops. We went with about 5~6 BLM, me on SCH, a WHM, BRD-mule, BLU and WAR. Annoying, but VERY easy over all with BRD mule and most BLM/RDM.
The BLU pretty much creates the self SC while the WAR kept it's attention, (quickly) SC -> timed MB nuke while the head is in, kite/timed nuke while the head is out. Only the very first fight was rough; took us almost 20 mins considering raises from Waterga IV spam. The very last fight was about 5 mins in comparison. Hope this helps. Anyone have any strategies for 4-5 people?
BLM BLM RDM RDM (SCH?) I've heard works. Sch can Self SC now iirc.

Did it 2x Nin, 2x blm, 1x whm.
a bunch of ppl on asura did it today. at the end we were getting low on numbers, but we all knew what we were doing. i'd guess we had 4 blm, rdm, pld, dnc (me).
keep it out of shell, sc darkness + nuke, don't die. i would imagine that lots of setups could do this with 2-3 good nukers, and some sort of darkness or blizzard sc. bb today after using brown since 2005! :-o

We did this recently with ZTBZ. In the past we've used the strategy where you SC and MB the turtle every time he goes inside his shell, and then time nuke him back inside again.
This last time we went in with minimal support with a bunch of capable DD. We zerged it nonstop until it died w/o any SC or MB. Level 99 ftw, this turtles reign of terror is over. This can be easily and repeatedly zerged now. At one point we only had one whm and about 10 people. I don't know about beating it to death, though that probably does work now. I went earlier today and the SAM and PLD dropped his health while out of the shell at a decent rate. We were setup for the traditional darkness SC -> ice MB scenario though. Might be nice if a bunch of DDs could stand in for a handful of BLMs though. At least makes getting a group together a little more flexible.
I'd imagine a decent sized DD group wouldn't have much trouble. He doesn't hit hard. I think (aside from in shell regen and all) the most annoying thing is the constant debuffing he does. Well, that and the fact that the egg rarely drops (went 0/6 today >_>). Two BLM can easily duo this now. Bind/Gravity when necessary, time casts wisely to get it out of its shell quickly.

For Wyrm id go rdm, blm + mnk, or swap blm for rng. For Behemoth mnk + rdm, for Aspid idk last time I did was 90 cap 5 man iirc would of been rdm blm blm sam brd. The BC is simple at 99. Just one golden rule: Do NOT *** with it's regen. Even at 99 the regen can get him back to 100% HP quick if you have no more MP when it's in the shell. Melee DD still do horrible dmg when it's in.
Did it recently with MNK BLU WHM 2x BLM SCH. First fight was a bit messy since SCH applied Helix that sent it back in its shell. Even in its shell, a decent BLM will do a fair amount of damage. Two BLM won't have an issue drawing it out quickly when necessary, and between Manawell, Refresh, Convert, and both Aspirs, MP is nearly unlimited. Bring echo drops. Offline
