on previous updates, longest its ever taken me is 2 hrs maybe 3, its been a good 26 hrs and its still not updated, i dont understand wtf is going on with my pol -.-
damn .... i know someone useing dial up and theres didnt take taht long XD
i'm saying though lol i dont understand what's going on.

If you are on PC here is a link to the files for this update, All you have to do to install is unzip cut and paste into your FFXI folder under program files

least im not in it alone! i have 8663 to go lol so i give it another 8-10 hrs
Tried resetting modem? That's helped me before

Manually doing it is so much faster and easier...
If you're not playing PC then just pray that everyone that is playing PC is downloading from these to ease up the burden on SE's server...

157mb file 26 hours?
he could of had it mailed to him faster.
my connection can do that in a few mins and guess what,it took 4.5 hours lol.
i put it down to Se having a limited upload of half a meg >.>

i got my update from tehkrizz.net (forum mod here @ ffxiah.com) it took me all of 5 minutes to download and replace files.

gonna try this one see if it works, =P seems more complete than the others
I unzipped it in a new folder like on desktop then manually copy pasted the rom-rom5 folders and pujt it in ffxi folder

still nothing, could a factor be that i have FFXI through steam?
Did you un-rar the file, and transfer it directly into your FFXI folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\FinalFantasyXI\)?

i unrar'd it but looks like it doesnt go through to it, still have 8272 files to go from starting @ 24k files yesterday afternoon

I put the files in the folder(C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\FinalFantasyXI\) when i go do the update all the files still need to be updated

Hmmmmm okay. Think it might be you put the folders in the wrong place, or something.
Program files > steam > steamapps >common > ffxi > SE > ff11 lol pretty sure its right
