I did have sigil, our sch did not, but he said he got the same exp as us.

Out setup was pld/nin, whm, sch, cor, smn. My melee hits were doing about 5~7, cor shots were doing in the 40's (no attack roll) and the majority of the damage was grand fall for 1000 ish.

Chary wouldn't be a hard solo without the hitting like a kraken club, it would simple be a time consuming solo, there's a difference. And it's def isn't really that high.

As for OP, I swear the sigil xp bonus is broken or something, I should try testing it out myself, lol. It's never seemed to work for me. But yeah, it's probably a bit much to ask, but if you could try doing it with 4 people instead of 5, that would probably solve our question of the xp bonus, hehe.

Im sure I can arrange that.

Also, why is this in NMs? He's not an NM, its a normal everyday mob. Conned incredibly tough.

Alright, I finally figured it out. Turns out they are level 89 and give a 4% exp bonus for their level. Here's my reasoning:

level 89 = 14 level difference = 720 base exp

720 x 1.04 (4% exp bonus) = 748.8 (round down to 748)
748 x 0.39 (Sigil share for PT of 5) = 291.72 (round down to 291)

That was your exp with no chain.

291 x 1.2 (Chain #1 bonus) = 349.2 (round down to 349)

Chain #1.

291 x 1.25 (Chain #2 bonus) = 363.75 (round down to 363)

Chain #2.

Doesn't work, there's just not enough raw data to make that conclusion.

I can make it work as a lvl 87 mob too.

580 * 1.29 = 748
748 * .39 = 291

Etc etc...

Also, the poster mentioned that sigil xp bonus didn't seem to be having an effect so that throws it off even more.

I'm saying that the mob family bonus could be 1.29 vs your 1.04 if we assume the mob's a different lvl. Hence we need more data before we can nail down what the exact % is.
