Pick a "mission"
you have to kill <NM> 3 times
or
Kill 100 monsters with said weapon equiped.

Actually it depends on what trial you take. There are two starting trials. One with the NM and another with 100 enemies in certain weather. I went with the Katana and I'm going for the augments of +dmg +4agi and +12 eva for obvious reasons. I was looking through all of them and it just gets crazier.

For those that have been living under a rock.
Just found out that you can get credit for kill by being together in party. You don't even have to hit the mob just be wearing the item. And be within xp range basically. We had one in our party wasn't close when we killed Serapopard and he didn't get credit for it but the rest of us did ><. So far looks interesting I can't wait to see what I have to do later on in the quests.

Yeah it took us about hour and half to get ours to pop. And with some low levels trying fight the dhalmels XD it was almost kind of funny one point seeing bunch of 75s chase down these poor dhalmels. Almost like HNM camping lol all the 75s sitting around waiting on 1 poor dhalmel NM. Can tell you one thing >.> AH going be flooded with dhalmel meat before long.
