The World for FF16 looks awfully familiar
When RMT start buzzing around at 4000% movement speed with all the botting tools available I'll be convinced.
No Windy flag. And no Star Sibyl. At last, a perfect world.

Modern SE lives off of 'memberberries, so I wouldn't be shocked.

Whether theyd like to admit it or not XI already set the mold for 2 of their games, one of them being more successful than they initially thought it would. Lets hope Fujito does something worthwhile in the near future, you know, since we've been paying them for doing the bare minimum and all. Bahamut.Celebrindal

certainly wouldn't be the first time SE re-used a universe for another FF game.
....Ivalice anyone? I desperately want to see more games set in Vana'diel. I've said it before and I'll say it many more times in the future.
It doesn't have to be an online game or set in the same era or anything. They've established the entire history of the world and paved the way for the world's timeline to move forward. Give me more Vana'diel. Let us play out the Kuluu attack against the Zilart, let us take part in any one of the world-altering events or massive years-long wars between nations. I like Final Fantasy XI, but I love Vana'diel. If we can get two dozen games set on FFVII's Gaia, we can get one more set on Vana'diel. If it wasn't a bad game, it could even encourage more people to check out XI. maybe ff16 was repurposed ffxi remake!
