Mappy - Help With Install -

Hey guys I am new to addons and wanted a better map for ffxi. Mappy seems great. I wanted help with the install. I have an addon folder and the files in that load with //lua load <name of file> but mappy isn't a lua. Once I download it where do I put it and do I just need the maps folder/file from the github or do I need other files in addition to this?

So far I have maps folder downloaded and a text document of changes and an application called mappy. At this time I have it downloaded and placed in my addons folder. Thanks for any help!
