The History Of FFXI (Final Fantasy Union Video)

Saw this earlier and found it really interesting, if anyone else missed it here it is.

@3:56, was an awesome idea and I'm glad they did it. It was just a shame the cultures did not mix the best, at least back then.

This video is one of the main reasons I came back to FFXI. It helped me realize that the things in this game that a lot of people think are "bad" or "mistakes" are all deliberate design choices made towards a particular vision. It fostered an understanding of what it was that keeps drawing me back to the game: it's not just because of nostalgia, it's uniquely amazing.

I've subscribed to them now. Not every video is amazing, but they do seem to know their stuff.
